I know this is not the season we had hoped for, but to get to 4-5 and bowl game was not even in the cards 4 weeks ago! Most of his here weren't even sure who we would beat after starting out 0-5. We can slice and dice this season all day long, but I think the young kids just needed experience and unfortunately they started out with a strong schedule to get it.
0-5 to 5-0 with a bowl game? If they can't take that momentum into 2021, good grief!! Would really be nice to see Penn State play a top 25 team in the bowl game if they go. With teams opting out and the virus screaming right now, who knows who will be healthy in the next two weeks. I bet they start pairing up teams based on health as much as they do records. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see games change in the week of if one team becomes unavailable.

@been-there-ii: Well said BT. Hey, you're an old fart. Do you remember back in '67 when JP pulled his seniors and started his underclassmen?? That season was pretty much a scrimmage season to the great teams of '68-69. Not saying the same is gonna happen to our team next year by any stretch of the imagination, but there's always that chance. I'm hoping we can put this game away early and give our other two QB's some playing time. I'm anxious to see them play. Wont be able to watch the game, wifey made prior plans and I was told I'd be dead if I didnt attend.
@brownale: BA, I'm not sure I'd want to weather the storm she'd wreak on me before I finally passed!! That woman can be meaner than tiger pi$$. I'm not sure why, I'm a fairly easy going guy to get along with.

lol BUT I do remember someone calling a couple of us on here "Wussies" because we couldn't watch the Labor Day weekend game a couple years back, due to family obligations.

Wouldnt have been the old man that called you a wussie was it?? I gotta give him a pass on missing tonite's game. Every year on the saturday before Christmas, he and my grandmother rent out the local firehall and feed the homeless and less fortunate a Christmas dinner. They solicit donations from the community and buy gifts for everyone. My grandparents started doing this long before I was born and its grown into quite a tradition up in their parts. He'll be pissed caused I told ya this but the old fart has a soft spot in his heart for the less fortunate.

My girl Suzy made me forget I missed that game, 'cause I went with her to her niece's wedding. lol It was the least she could do! Who plans a wedding at Lake George on Labor Day weekend???
