It went to sudden death in OT, but the Lions came out on top! It is days like today that I am happy to have channels like the Big Ten network! Great to be able to watch some of the sports that aren't as popular when your team is doing well...
It can bring more fans to the sport when they see how fun it is to watch

Good point Roam because even though I’ve been to a Thrashers hockey game it wasn’t the same as watching penn st play. I was fired up getting nervous watching penn st play ND a few weeks ago. It’s always better to watch a sport if you are pulling for a team. Man I use to love boxing when Larry Holmes was champion and I was also a big Foreman and Holyfield fan but now I could care less about boxing.
I still remember the first time I went to a hockey game. There was an elderly couple sitting in front of us and they were pretty quiet and reserved. As the action on the ice started heating up, the lady screamed "Get the puck out of there!". I almost crapped my pants until I realized what she yelled wasn't what my dirty mind thought 🤗
As expected, No. 1 seed. Hopefully, the team can live up to the expectations.
