Our game with Kent State on Sep 21st will be a 3:30 PM KO televised by BTN.
I can get all the yard work and grilling out done. I love 3:30 starts rip 😁
Kent State has to play #7 Tennessee on the road the week prior to coming to Happy Valley to play a #8 Penn State also on the road. Never sleep on a MAC school but this is absolute brutal two week stretch for them.

They will take their beatings but I respect them.
All about getting a million dollar check & like Norther Illinois, there's always a chance of making upset news.
I look for a good ass kicking on Kent St catching us at a bad time.
We need to take care of business is all I can say!
@southern-psu-fan Yeah, as kularrow noted, they're probably going to be a bit worn out by the time they get to Happy Valley.
But what do I know? I thought we'd handle BG fairly easily.

I don't enjoy games like this. I'm ducking out on watching my favorite HS team because they are boring, non competitive games. Sure, beat up on non competitive teams. Penn State should roll in this one. However, not much of a concern, but is one player injured? One arrested for DUI, marijuana? You don't want the depth chart getting worse especially heading into USC.
Bazelak has thrown for 9100 yards in his college career and still has the rest of this season to go. AT 9100 yards, that would put him at #3 ALLTIME at Penn State. That is 700 yards behind #2 McSorely and 1500 yards behind #1 Cliff ( who had 5 years ).....and 4,000 more than Collins.
And these were not MAC passing yards. That was two years at Missouri, 1 year at Indiana and 1 year BG. Then you add Garcia ( Kansas State ) and Johnson ( Auburn ) who transferred into BG. I don't think this was a typical offensive MAC team and probably should have been given a little more consideration by the coaching staff.....and players. I think he is every bit as good at Allar.
Yes, that game should have never been that close and Penn State sidestepped a landmine. But, I think Penn State has a lot of talent, that was only the second game of the year and they got it turned around in the second half. Hopefully this was a learning lesson, they realize how close they came to being out of the playoff contention and we don't see this again! With a bye week and then Kent State, I think they will look more like a playoff team when Illinois comes to down!
GO STATE!!!
