See link above. Was glad coach didn't sugarcoat things this week because it addressed the elephant in the room head-on -- namely what the heck happened to the D in the initial 30 minutes and what flipped in the final 30? Gives a couple of reasons why things looked the way they did in the first half. Points out a couple kids specifically (DeLuca, Wheatley). But in the end, the buck has to stop at Allen. He looked like a guy who hasn't been a defensive coordinator in close to a decade (which he is) out there Saturday. Even if Bowling Green has a few fringe pros for a MAC team, that's no excuse for why things were so out of sorts. Can only hope this was a wake-up call. Anyway, enjoy.
That was interesting! Thanks for sharing. I never sat down and watched something like this before. Made a lot of sense. This game should have not been that close, but you can't take away from BG either. They played a good game, but Penn State just had too much talent and I think that showed when they did the halftime adjustments. I will be curious to see what BG does against Texas A&M this weekend. A&M will have the luxury of watching the Penn State film, so I doubt BG will have as much success.
The game I am really interested in is Bama vs Whisky. I think So Florida made a huge mistake taking the FG instead of going for it on 4th down when they only trailed Bama by 8. WHen you are that big of an underdog, I think you take chances when you are only down 1 score that late in the game.
GO STATE!!
@mtnittanylion He always does a good job explaining what's what, so even I can understand. Well worth watching.
@been-there-ii he does a very good job. I get to watch it while I’m on my Bowflex and time flies by watching Penn St. football. I believe the Tide will beat down Wisconsin mtnittany
