Let's discuss.

Home win vs. Michigan. Good win against what people believe is the 3rd best team in Big Ten East. Obviously that could change, but a good win.

Home win vs. Stanford. Stanford just lost to Utah... Excuse me, GOT BLOWN OUT by Utah. They will be ranked in the 20's, if at all.

Road win against VT. VT's starting QB is out... And come on, VT lost to Old Dominion. Whatever, not impressed.

Wake Forest? LOL. Vandy? Ball State? No ranked teams left on their schedule. At the end of the year, Michigan might be the only ranked team on their schedule at all.

Year in and year out we hear how great Neuter Dame is and every year they come up lacking.  Wouldnt it be something to see Pitt roll into town and upset them??  Ok,  that might be a stretch but it would be a nice gesture if our little brother was able to somehow seize the day and knock them out of our way.

The last thing a PSU fan should do, is poke fun at another team's schedule..No team has more of  a national rep for destroying cupcakes than PSU..

ND's schedule  is normally highly heralded every yr as one of the toughest in the nation..And if you think heading to LA in season's finale to beat USC, whether they are ranked or unranked, you simply don't understand the ND-USC rivalry..and that may be doubly true if the Irish head out 11-0..

You should know that, especially given PSU's troubles when facing USC..

Give us a few more weeks to answer that question.  I think you're going to be disappointed.....yet again.  I wouldnt say that losing by one point to OSU is considered "poof" but hey, to each his own.

We all get it that you're a closet ND fan and that's cool.  Take a look at Jeff Sagarin's rankings and ratings as of yesterday.  He has ND ranked at #9 and USC ranked at #43.  Michigan is ranked at #7, two spots AHEAD of the team that beat them.  He uses computer formulas to create his list and it pretty much boils down to nothing until all the games are played.  BTW......he has PSU ranked at #4 with the 31st toughest schedule.  ND's schedule is rated #18 so I'll give you that.  In all honesty, both teams' SOS will have changed by season's end.

What im saying is, dont hang your hat on USC.  If Michigan beats us at home (which is a very good possibility), that will certainly help your SOS.  ND needs Michigan to win out in order to give any credence to your schedule.

It was good chatting with you!!

No one is out there trying to justify our ranking based on our schedule like ND. We also play some ranked teams in the future unlike ND

The OSU game might have been easier to take if it was a 20 point loss than the way it did. All the pundits like to talk about the eyeball test especially around playoff time, and to me (of course who is not a pundit), it looked like Penn State was the better team that game. The village idiot can go "poof " cause he obviously looks for anything negative out of his huge disappointment of Penn State's rapid rise into the national picture again. I do think the remaining schedule looks pretty tough and by no means are Indiana or Maryland easy games either.

As far as Notre Dame, I think they are a pretty good team with this Book and btw thank God we ended up with Trace instead of  Wimbush. However, after half the season almost played already, I would rather play their schedule than ours. Also, the way Michigan looks now, if they played ND today, I'd bet Michigan.

I fail to see how having an opinion that ND's schedule is not nearly as good as people are saying is "poking fun" at it?

I think Pitt's spent after they're Syr-excuse win. But we can hope they take down ND
