This topic is better posted on the wrestling side but it would likely be missed so I’m posting it here.
To be clear I don’t care for Jim Jordan because he is on the opposite side of my politics and he is an Ohio State guy with 2 very good sons that wrestle for OSU and a third coming in. That said, with Paterno being accused of covering up under the false pretense that”he knew everything that went on in State College”, I view this issue as nothing more than politics. Anyway, that is my view and nothing more. The news link is below.
...and let me guess, Ohio State will get a pass and will not be punished for it. Much like Michigan State, where hundreds of women were molested and it's been proven people there knew.
However, no one involved at those schools was named Paterno so who cares, right?
Will have to see where it goes and how many victims come forward and (real) evidence to substantiate the claims. My wife and I were talking about it, just like MSUand North Carolina, the NCAA will turn their head away because they couldn’t make the sanctions and wiping Joe’s record setting win total work and were chastised for it.
