Trying to figure out where to park. I am on that dang campus monthly, but I have never been to a football game there. Anybody familiar with the parking situation on game day? Passes are going for $200 but I was told you may be able to park privately at businesses for a fee.
Just thought I would ask.

Living in Norfolk, I considered going before it became a Friday night game. Parking and DC traffic and hotel costs made me decide to watch from the comfort of my home! Good luck!
Unless you need your vehicle for tailgating, I would consider Metro. Park at the station and hoof it from the stop at CP.

If you scalp at MD, be careful! We went there quite a few years ago and bought tickets in the parking lot before the game. The price was right and the coed was pretty (and a little liar!). They were student tix but she said we'd have no trouble getting in with them. To make a long story short, we couldn't use them because we weren't students. So, unless U of Md policy has changed, you can't get in on a student ticket without a valid student ID card!

Bob, though we never met, I will just go by the way you describe yourself and say that I am shocked that with your youthful swag, you weren’t mistaken for a student!
This forum needs to have a roundtable meeting sometime. It'd be cool to put some faces with the names. It would be nice to drag the old curmudgeon from Maine down, but that aint likely to happen. I've told him many times that I'd fly him into Elmira, NY and pick him up for a game in SC, and then see that he gets back home but he just wont do it. Doesnt want to leave my Grandma alone.

That would be an awesome event Bulldawgs! I've met Southern and his family, Caven and and MB and NCNITT who isn't around anymore on the boards. Would be awesome to hook up with the old Leatherneck and the others!!!!

That would be great, but hard to pull off logistically.
Back in the day, I would be drinking beer all evening getting ready for game time. Now it's pounding coffee all evening so I can stay up till game time. Crap!!!!!!!
