Ironically right as it comes out the Iowa was one of three schools to vote on playing football this year, they voluntarily shut down all athletic training due to a spike in COVID-19 cases on campus. Over 1000 students have tested positive and about 100 athletes/athletic staff.
The Big Ten did not force them to shut down, they did this themselves. So basically had football not been cancelled, they would have had to forfeit their game against Maryland. What a clusterf*ck
