Off to see The Rolling Stones in Detroit tonight. Best dam Rock N Roll band ever but their best music ended after "Some Girls" album. One more bucket list checked off. Still wish I had seen the Allman Bros.

I liked a handful of Stone's songs, but not a big fan. Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Sabath, R.J. Dio and Scorps, while reading T.H. or Ed Rosenthal's Grower's Guide.
@tsuga Culture Thrives? All this time I was thinking he was talking about Culture Club! Had a guy at the tailgate Sat, PSU shirt and ND ball cap. After having been introduced to "ND Timmy", I overcame my introvert tendencies and flat out told him "I have really mixed emotions about seeing ND and PSU apparel on at the same time at a PSU game. He chuckled and said, "Why not? Two of the best traditions and educational excellence in college football." ...guess I wasn't the 1st to point that out.

@been-there-ii I love DIO. Especially his time with Black Sabbath. I thought that was their best music. Especially Tony Iomi and his guitar playing was great on the work with DIO. Seen them when they came around as Heaven and Hell. DIOs solo stuff is great along with the Rainbow work he did. DIO always had great guitar players
@rockatansky76 I’ve heard many music artists say Dio was a very nice person and was fun to be around. Van Halen and Motley Crue were my favorite but I love OZZY and Black Sabbath too.

@southern-psu-fan Yep. Same here. In the metal world. DIO was loved by so many musicians. Only Vivian Cambell ever said anything bad about him. I love Van Halen. I like both Roth and Hagar eras of the band. I go to Cabo every March for the whale season. Always hit the Cabo Wabo while I’m there.
@southern-psu-fan I’m probably a little younger than you. I have an older brother who is 55. And he introduced me to metal. With Crue Motörhead. And the rock to with Van Halen and many others. But I would say Judas Priest and Iron Maiden are my favorite. But I’m a huge thrash metal fan as well.
@rockatansky76 I’ve still got to get my butt out there to the secrets. This Covid-19 crap has set me back Rock76. When all the mask mandates end for good I’ll start gettin out more. My son went last year and they had to wear a mask. I just found out I’m going to the Daytona 500 in February so it will definitely be 2023 before I do a winter vacation. Navylion, I hope you can make the Daytona 500 brother I will be there it would be nice to see you again. Just found out I am going,my wife and son got things together. It’ll be me, my wife, father-in-law and 2 sons coming that way baby 😁👍🇺🇸 Hey, I’ll shut up about Limegrover if you can make it lol
@southern-psu-fan Both the Secrets and Dreams in Los Cabos are great. I don’t golf but the Secrets has a golf course next to it.
@been-there-ii Looks like we have very similar taste in music! I've seen every combination of Sabath, same with Ozzy to include with the legend Randy Rhodes, Dio on his own multiple times, with Richie Blackmore and Rainbow and Sabath.

One of the best concerts I went to was in 1980 at the Spectrum when they did the Black and Blue tour with Blue Oyster Cult. Man they kicked ass with DIO!!! Heaven and Hell is one of favorite albums. BOC was pretty darn good also!!

That's awesome!! As of right now, God willing, I plan to be there. Hopefully with the Son and Grandson! We'll definitely hook up!!!! I'll come down early so we can tailgate!

@navylion That’s where I seen Heaven And Hell. The Spectrum. Megadeth opened for them. Great show. I’m sure in the eighties they were great too. Vinnie Appacie was on drums when I seen them. I think it was 2010. Bill Ward Tony and Ronnie. I wish they made a video for that show. DIO always said he loved playing in Philadelphia. I miss the Spectrum Flyers games were great there.
@southern-psu-fan I was just at Dreams Nutura in Riviera Maya. And you didn’t need a mask. The staff wore masks. It was a good trip. The resort was only 30 occupied
@rockatansky76 We usually stay at secrets or Zoetry. How is the dreams compared to these 2? Secrets is my favorite? Might have to hit one spring break, I need a good vacation break lol
@southern-psu-fan Dreams are nice. Basically the same food and restaurants. But you have families at Dreams. Where Secrets it’s all adults. We have a two year old now. So it’s Dreams for us for a while. They just built a Secrets in St Martin. That would be great to check out. Easy for you to being in Georgia. I never been to a Zoetry. I checked out the one in Isla Mujeras it was nice and small. Great beach
@rockatansky76 I’ve been to the zoetry in ilsa mujeras and it’s very nice but the beach is deceiving. The pools d food is great. You can rent golf cart and ride around the whole island and it’s a pretty safe place too. I might have to try dreams. The secrets the Vine is my favorite I love that place man. I’m ready for summer 😂
@southern-psu-fan The Vine is nice because you are right in the hotel district and close to a lot of stuff. I was there in 2016. Really nice time.
