Well, if things play out this way amazingly enough we will be in a NY6 bowl: Alabama, Clemson, and Notre Dame go undefeated. Michigan, Oklahoma, and Washington State all win out. We beat Maryland. If all that happens, we are in. If someone like Oklahoma or WSU slips up, then those conferences probably get another spot. What it would look like if we get in:
Cotton: #1 Alabama vs. #4 Michigan
Orange: #2 Clemson vs. #3 Notre Dame
Rose: #8 Ohio State vs. #7 Washington State
Sugar: #9 Georgia vs. #10 UCF
Fiesta: #5 Oklahoma vs. #6 LSU
Peach: #11 Florida vs. #12 Penn State
WVU losing on Saturday did us a big favor, but we need to finish against Maryland. The Big 12 only gets one if OU wins it because WVU loses again next week, and Texas loses again to OU in the title game. Pac-12 only gets one if WSU wins because it means Utah and UW both lose again too.
This isn't a prediction really, but more of a display of what it has to look like for us to get into a NY6.
Interesting roam and very possible. I just hope the team gets back on track with the offense we saw earlier this year.
