this was going to be one of those games yesterday.  But at NO point was Penn State EVER in trouble!! Noon time game, 26 point favorite and coming off of decisive win over an SEC team the week before......this game just didn't have that great flavor from the 'get the go".

- Cliff threw too many 2021 type passes yesterday....wasn't his day

- THE REFS MISSED SO MANY HOLDING CALLS YESTERDAY IS WAS PATHEDIC!!! NO WONDER WE COULDN'T GET TO THE QB! INFACT, THEY DIDN"T MISS THEM, THEY JUST DIDN'T CALL THEM!

- Singleton needs to give up on the "home run" ball and be satisfied with the 4 or 5 yard gains.  He needs to take Allen's approach, see what the Oline is giving you, take a deep breath and make the best of it. We need both of these guys in the game, but I think Allen is a little ahead of Singleton in maturity.  BUT, Singleton will get there soon.

- Punting game is spectacular! This is going to be the difference in games with Minny, Maryland and especially with Michigan on the road.

- Missing FG's and PAT's is a problem.....got to get this cleaned up

It was a beautiful day in Happy Valley yesterday, nice to see SO many people tailgating well after the game was over....made getting out of the lot so much easier!!

Penn State is going to be ok as the season goes on.  One heck of a stretch of games coming up, but they can win them all....except for Ohio State.  I am hoping there is major rain event THAT day keeping this a lower scoring game.  If not, we better post 60 points! We will need every bit of that unless our offense can stay on the field and keep this game close.  Glad this is a home game for us, but we are going to need more THAT! Ohio State is impressive, their coach is impressive and they just got it going on right now.......but Penn State plays them well, so you never know!

4-0 is a great position to be in!!

GO STATE!!!

We gotta catch the dang ball. Clifford’s numbers were great before we started dropping the ball. All QB’s have some bad throws and Clifford did but the WR’s cost him 4 or 5 more completions. Clifford was on fire before the drops started but we still won big and could’ve won bigger if James Franklin wanted too.

I thought there would be a letdown, thankfully it did not end up a loss as it would have in previous years.  I think Northwestern is the tell all for the season.  Hopefully this is a one and done letdown.
