Great high school football games on ESPN 2 folks. 2 power houses in Georgia . I believe the Carrollton QB will be the #1 recruit in the country when he comes out in 3 years.
Thanks for the heads up, Southern. I'll be watching 'cause I'm ready for some football!
That was one hell of a game. Best HS FB I've seen in a long time. Both QB's looked real good. I think Carrollton would have scored at the end to win it if the back didn't fumble on the next to last play.
@rip I was pulling for Carrollton because that’s the local team in the county I live in. The fumble cost ‘em the game BK but gotta give Hughes credit for gettin the stop. Hughes is 6a defending state champions and Carrollton finished 2nd in 7A last year. Both teams will probably be back in the state championship games again. Man Carrollton almost had it won lol. BTW BK the team that beat Carrollton last year in the state championship game is in the same county as Hughes. Just absolutely loaded with D1 talent
Thanks for the local background info, Southern. Both teams look like they are championship caliber. I was pulling for Carrollton too. I didn't care for the Hughes QB. Like I said above, he's very good, but he knows it and has a lot of hot dog in him. He'll fit right in with the Suckeyes, lol.
St Francis academy was ranked #3 in the country and played at #7 Buford and Buford shut ‘em out 18-0. Buford is another powerhouse down here in Georgia. I believe St Francis is In Baltimore, Maryland BK. Man I missed that game that was a game I was wanting to see. My man Dee told me there was a lot of hype on it.
You guys down in Georgia are sure loaded. I miss the good old days when George Curry's Berwick Bulldogs were a national powerhouse. The soccer mom's took over the school board and forced old George out. They haven't had much of a football team since.
Just read the Carrollton QB is headed to USC. Turncoat should go to Ga Tech lol. Brent Key has some work to do baby. Don’t guess James Franklin even tried to get him but it’s still way early the dude is a sophomore.
