I know we have half of July and ALL of August to go, but I am starting to get a little ready for football! Last season wasn't much of a season regardless of how you look at it. I think we should be ok, but this Delta virus thing has me a little on edge. 64% of PA residents received at least one dose of the vaccine, but I would like to see this get up over 70% before kickoff!
With that said, I hope to hear a little more progress reports out of Happy Valley! Specifically, how well Clifford and the new OC are doing. Pretty quiet at the moment outside of the recruiting news. I guess no news is better than bad news. I am still holding my prediction that Penn State takes care of business on opening day at the Camp....and in a big way too! Haven't read much on Wisconsin either, but I am still holding firm that the Lion's have a lot of good players returning, there is nothing at the moment distracting them and as long as they ALL stay healthy through August, they will be fielding a top 10 team against Wisconsin.
They come out of Wisconsin with a solid performance, old Southern will have them ranked in the TOP 5 of the BIG DAWGS in week two!!

I pray for everybody in our country and hope for everybody to have good health and prosperity and I believe in freedom and I believe if you want the coronavirus vaccine you can get it and if you don’t want it that’s fine to but if you get this coronavirus crap, it’s on you baby. I’ll keep praying for ya but we ain’t shutting this thing down again. Dr. Fauci, Joe Biden, Obama, 97% of doctors, Ole Southern and even Donald J Trump says get the freaking shot surely you’ll take the advice of one of these dudes. When Pennsylvania sweet corn comes out you know it's coming real soon. 12 days and August comes in. What about this Delta virus? I haven't been watching the news lately or following. Is it a new virus?
I think Penn State handles Wisky as well...I honestly think the defense will carry the day...I think Penn State has the potential to have one of the best defenses in the country...The key to this ballgame will be if the offense can sustain a drive or 2 and give em a break...Of course they have to value the football as well...They can't go out there and have 4 or 5 turnovers against that outfit...This is a talented group and should be able to compete with anybody in the country...
Well said! They have plenty of talent to compete at a high level. Coaching? They have enough experience to know what NOT to do. Now they just need to know WHAT to do with the talent have they. I think the new OC is chomping at the bit counting the days down! If you have THAT much faith in the D, I have as much in the O.....so it should be a good year for you and I!!! LOL

I think it's gonna be a great year for the Lions. I feel the same as MNL about our new OC & the offense. I just wish I had FD's confidence in our D. I still worry about Pry, LOL.
I think our defense will be very good just on talent alone and in spite of 3rd and long lets get beat deep Pry...smfh...
