I always want what’s best for Penn St football and I always want to win regardless of the record. I’d be willing to let the freshman play as long as we got the lead. Against Washington a few years ago Barkley sit while we had the lead. Get the lead and let the freshman play. This could be something James Franklin does because he’s done it before. And when I say the lead even if it’s a 3 point lead as long as we are leading let the freshman play. This way we’re not giving up on the season and DA and CV can gets some meaningful playing time. Makes the game dang interesting too. Guys I’m already suffering with Pebblebrook,GT and Atlanta lol
Indiana is a total mess right now. Can't seem to get anything going. I don't see why not. Get a good lead then put the freshman in. However, looking at the scores it seems Indiana hung around in some of those matchups over the years.

It looks like all the true freshmen who have burnt their redshirt already play a lot. The exception seems to be Allar.

Got ya, my bad. We will see what happens tomorrow, some in here have said Franklin's been non-committal towards Clifford in recent days. I've haven't read anything about it, but I'm sure the people posting about it have.
I believe the leaders at Penn St need to get Ohio St or Michigan later in the season Maybe 10th or 11th game and stop worrying about playing Purdue on the road To open up big 10 play. Playing both teams to early and to close together.
Tennessee is gettin a lot of love because they beat Alabama but I’m thinking Georgia is going to beat Tennessee tomorrow. Alabama should’ve lost to Texas plus A&M had ‘em on the ropes. Alabama is good but this ain’t one of their dominant teams they’re not good enough on defense. Georgia has the defense to beat Tennessee. We’ll definitely see tomorrow but I’ll be watching the Penn St game in the living room but I’ll be walking on the back deck to check out that game as well during commercials. As for our game, there has been so much talk about just giving Allar the reigns now. IMO Clifford even for as how inconsistent he’s been still gives Penn State the better chance of winning the rest of the season. Of course not saying he should be in there the whole game if we have a commanding lead. I just don’t think Allar is quite ready yet. Love him or hate him SC has been playing 6 years ( I know my eyes are rolling too). He has seen pretty much every defense alignments that college ball has thrown at him. Tomorrow we have a pretty banged up offensive line too so I’d rather have the experience in there at least to start. I went off topic of your post here but I thought I’d throw out my worthless opinion while I’m at it. Anyway enjoy your BBQ, it sounds pretty damn delicious…and of course GO STATE!

I would be shocked if Allar get's any meaningful playing time today. And even more shocked if he started. Penn State still has lot to play for, a NY6 bowl game would be a great finish, so I think they will stay with Clifford unless he just down right stinks it up and then I would say Allar is the rest of the season. HOWEVER, if Clifford is playing poorly in the first QB, JF will pull him and that will be the end of his Penn State career. JF can't afford to support Cliff over the team winning.

@southern-psu-fan I doubt they will ever do that not cool to play penn state and the have to face Meatchicken or Buckeyes in last game. The last game for Um and OSU for regular season is always THE GAME.
