both teams are loaded with NFL talent. Just got done reading my athlons sports 2022 magazine. Not much respect but why should they be after the last 2 years. I’ve just got a good feeling we’ll click this year.  Get the win a Auburn and this can this will be a special year.

Not much enthusiasm here in central PA, most folks I’ve spoken to are expecting us to get our butts whupped in some early season games and then finish the season around .500. Folks aren’t too happy about the contract extension either, the only people I found excited about it are sPitt and Maryland fans.

I'll reserve my prediction until after the Purdue game.  I'm looking to see if James will let Yurcich & Diaz coach.

As far as I know,  HC's calls the plays. Never heard of OC's making the decisions on the sidelines.  What am missing here?

Some do, I believe most don't.  If you don't let the OC call them, what, pray tell does he do to earn his pay????

The OC’s call the plays unless the HC is the OC. James Franklin just butts in sometimes lol

You've never heard of OC's calling plays? What, do you live under a rock???? That's pretty much the job description in most cases, it's actually big news when a head coach takes over play calling duties.

Regardless, Franklin wasn't calling plays last year... but he was telling the OC to RUN, RUN, RUN. Yurcich still called the actual play, but he didn't get to decide whether or not they passed or ran.
