It's being reported that Jim Harbaugh will now officially interview for the HC position with the Broncos. Not surprising due to the alledged NCAA violations which came to light recently. Interesting to see where this story goes next

Broncos make huge Jim Harbaugh decision

The actual violations are insignificant. His lack of cooperation with NCAA officials is the real issue. Harbaugh is a good coach. It will be interesting watching where this goes.

His lack of cooperation WAS an actual violation.

Yes. Just like Nixon, it’s the coverup that brought him down.

The thing is when you’re trying to hide something that means you’re trying to hide something. What is he really trying to hide? He’s definitely trying to hide something or he wouldn’t be trying to mislead the ncaa. He’ll probably get away with whatever he’s really hiding.

He’s not going anywhere and this is probably nothing more than a JF type of power play.

I'd feel the same if it wasn't for the level 1 violation, which tend to be significant especially since it's about him lying to the NCAA.

@psujoe Maybe. Franklin was rumored to be talking/interviewing. Hairball has actually interviewed, according to sources.

Maximum would be forced to coach at some school in Jersey.

Sounds like Syr is in the market to fill coaching holes, banish Hairball there. Coaching staff leaving, starting players hitting the portal....if we just had some, world renown, crack investigating, ex-Saltine Warrior type, that could get us some deep, dark, secret, scoop.

Probably a minimum of recruiting restrictions, probation from playoffs, and suspension of coaching some games.

Level 1 is no joke if they prove it.

Since it's against Harbaugh himself, Michigan may get out of things if he leaves

@roaminglion  Michigan is responsible for everything Harbaugh does so they shouldn’t get out of anything.

@southern-psu-fan

But, given the NCAA's track record, that's the way it is.

I see nothing more than a slap on the rist or warning while Hairbawl gets a huge raise to stay at Meatchicken.

Hairbawl isn’t going anywhere and will most likely dominate the conference for the next decade. He’s by far the best coach in the conference and they’d be stupid to let him go.

Just read Harbaugh saying his heart is at Michigan and he ain’t leaving. It’s good for college football that he stays in college but if he breaks the rules he needs to be hammered just like everybody else.
