Just curious, does anyone here know how these grad transfer are considered as far as schollie limits? Are they receiving scholarships, or since they graduated, they are playing on their own dime?? Haven't been around for a few weeks and do not know if that was discussed or not.

They usually are given scholarships and count towards the 85 limit
Roam if they are a grad transfer do they have to take a class to be eligible to play and how many classes do they have to take. I asked this one time before but don’t remember if I ever got an answer? Sorry it’s just something I’d like to know lol. Thanks buddy

Southern, I'm not as knowledgeable as Roam, but let me take a stab at this. I would think that in order to be able to represent the university in intercollegiate competition, the athlete must be enrolled as a student. If you're enrolled as a student, it follows that you would have to take at least 1 class. The number you actually take probably depends on your post-grad major. Maybe I'm all wet, but I was trying to think about you're question logically. That was probably my 1st mistake, LOL!

I believe they have to be enrolled full-time as a grad student, which when I went to school was at least 9 graduate-level credits.
However, if they're only there to play football and they don't really care about the degree... it doesn't matter since once football is over they can leave school anyway.
That said, I believe graduate transfers are usually pretty fastidious students since they've already demonstrated by graduating that they are serious students. Many of them even graduated early.
