If Clifford leaves, who could PSU bring in as a grad transfer to provide experience to the position.
When I’m making my statements about where Penn St football is I’m talking about big picture because all we need to do is get a stud QB like Gene Chizik did at auburn with Cam Newton and we can win a NC but we probably will need a stud QB to get it done. What you seen with Gene Chizik is what you got unless he has a big time stud QB. James Franklin is better than Chizik I’m just saying lol
I don’t think they will bring anybody in because we have 2 good QB’s in the 22 class and we got #9 CV who I believe is going to be good from what I saw in the Rutgers game. I’m surprised he didn’t get any snaps in the Michigan State game.
Recruits are no guarantee, I'd rather have a proven commodity than rely on unproven "studs" who've only played in High School. We've seen time and time again that means nothing.
@roaminglion I agree, James Franklin would take a QB in the portal if he thinks the kid can help win games. I know it was Rutgers but I still like what I saw in CV
Navy, I couldn't agree more; I feel like I'm the O'line barn stomper on this forum and for good reason, b/c it sucks and has sucked for years and there is one common dominator.
Just put some guys out there that want to lay dudes out, oh wait, we don't have any!
@southern-psu-fan I would be surprised if I seen Kyle McCords name show up in the portal. He is at Ohio State and has some good competition in front of him.
Rattles from Oklahoma isn't a grad transfer, but is a 5* the entered the portal. Everything I read about him makes him seem like a project. All the talent in the world, but maturity issues abound.
@shankalottapuss Right. Great athletic ability but not leadership skills, a must have at that position.
Y’all ain’t going to drag me into the OL brawl again 😂
Go for it! That brawl was seriously entertaining.

I thought we decided we're referring to him as Cx.
