I'm glad I was able to find out about this forum. The last one shut down pretty fast. Â Looking forward to this one . I checked the old one often. Â It was good way to find out what is going on with PSU football. Â I didn't comment much. A lot of the times I would check in at work. If i had moment too. Â It was always something to look forward especially if a recruit was about to pledge a commitment. Â Them days are always interesting on the forum. Glad Cavensprawl put this together. Â Thank you
Anyone know how long the forums were around? Sadly, they went down hill the past 2-3 years.
I just checked the Internet Archives and they were around since at least 1999. Check out this link and look at the http://www.pennlive.com:80/forums/lions /" target="_blank">first post. HAHA The more things change the more they stay the same.
Funny thing, I was a mod for Advance Internet in the early years. Worked at NJ.com in the forums.
I think I have been posting since 2002 or 2003. A lot has changed and a lot has stayed the same.
Gentlemen I feel liberated! I had a Pennlive free day and it feels great! I am all moved in here, got the Koolaid av back, my favorite Lion forum fans are here! WE have a edit button! What more can you ask for!!

Brother it is going to be better! My cousin was a mod on a site somewhat like this and over time they built it up really nice! I just like the freedom of not having to deal with PennLives stupidity!!

Yup, Caven’s  format is similar to bluwhite illustrated style. Once you get used to it , it is very easy to navigate.
Lake, will the site refresh itself with new post as they come in or do have hit refresh ourselves?

I started reading the PennLive forum LJ’s Sr year 2002, I started posting in 2015
Especially SUZY~s many Nics
I almost always refresh if I’ve gone off the sight. I did that on the pennlive sight also though I know that sight refreshed automatically if I stayed on the sight without interruption. Some one else might have other thoughts.
Haven't been to PennLive since the fan forum was discontinued.  I think I will spend time there once the football season starts but right now, I have no drive to go there....
Still a decent place to get general news.
