My thinking is that he had his chance to sign with PS and backed off. Interesting that he signed with UGA knowing that Fromm was already on board for a year. Didn't win as the starting QB and now wants to change schools. Why should Franklin want to upset the QB room for 2019 or 2020?
PSU has two of the top dual threat QBs in the country signing in two days.....they wont make a play
Penn Sr, Florida or miss st would’ve been better choices considering Fromm had 3 years remaining.
Not the only quarterback that lost opportunity by flipping from PSU. Brandon Wimbush has had only limited success at Notre Dame having to wait his turn on the bench then to share time with Ian Book.
I wonder if Fields will consider Michigan. Harbaugh makes a living off of retread qb’s. Then there is West Virginia.

Apparently his transferring isn't linked solely to not starting at QB. As many of you know, he is also a baseball player... At a football game this year, one or two of the current baseball players taunted him by shouting "put the n-word in!" from the stands. That's terrible.
It is one thing to hear that from fans, quite another to hear it from guys you are supposed to share a locker room with in the spring. One of the kids issued an apology on twitter, so it definitely happened. Would not be surprised if that's one of the reasons he wants out.
I don’t believe that crap, he’s transferring because he knows now that Fromm is the man. That’s just BS so he hopefully doesn’t have to sit out a year. Dude may have said something to maybe hurts his feelings but that ain’t the reason he wants out. It’s bench time for the next 2 years is why he wants out and I told you Roam this was going to happen.

Justin Fields butt has been nothing but licked since he got to Georgia and now this kind of BS comes up now that he knows Fromm is the man. Oh I know exactly what you were saying Southern, I didn't take offense one bit. Actually kind of agree with you, it's a situation that was lightly reported back after the Tennessee game and then not much was said of it since.

I'd think Florida would be a likely landing spot for him... No real good QB there, he liked Mullen when he was at Mississippi State, it is close to home, and they have a very good baseball team to boot. Only thing would be whether he could handle being in the same division as Georgia.
Other potentials IMO would be FSU, Texas A&M, and maybe Oklahoma.
