i believe this is a good recruiting class looks like we got what we needed but there doesn’t seem to be much splash from the recruiting experts. What do you guys think about the 2023 class?

We're what, ranked 13th? 2nd in the B1G. We always seem to have a few under rated guys that pan out pretty well. We had a good haul for OL, TE, and LBs. Might have a good QB prospect. DBs have SEC speed. Sure, we're thin at a few spots, but... Looks to me like we did pretty good over all.
@southern-psu-fan Other sources say ....With another top 15 class almost completely in the books, it gives Penn State arguably the best back-to-back classes that they have signed during the James Franklin Era. Stacking classes of this caliber can help the Nittany Lions continue to build toward becoming a consistent top 10 program in the country....
@been-there-ii oh i agree BT, I believe it’s a very good class around 13 four star recruits. I’m very happy with the class I just wasn’t hearing any noise from the articles I was reading and Paul Finebaum didn’t say one word about the recruiting class lol I’m just kidding about Paul Finebaum 😂.

@sky will anybody? Georgia and LSU probably can. Y’all can ask 81 how good the talent is in Georgia. Georgia don’t have to go further than Lawrenceville, ga to recruit. Man you got Buford, Collins Hill, Sandy Creek, Gainesville and Cedar Grove just right around the corner. Then Cedartown and Carrollton where I live within a 100 miles. It’s unbelievable and like the ole ball coach use to say….nobody wastes more football talent the UGA

If the talent base starts to skew back towards the northeast, then yes. However, there's much more fertile recruiting grounds in the southeast right now. Much easier for programs like Alabama and Georgia to keep kids close.
@roaminglion but to be fair there’s more college power houses down south that have to split all the kids down here when in the NE it’s Penn St Michigan and Ohio State that usually hog up all the best players. I’m just speculating Roam but that’s what I see but I’m no recruiting expert 😂 I love high school football I just don’t have time to follow recruiting real close like some folks do. I rely on y’all that do. Ole Murray use to have all the recruiting nuggets
What I see is a coach that can’t consistently recruit at an elite level and doesn’t have the smarts to overcome teams with superior talent and coaching staffs. Undefeated seasons and conference or national championships are a pipe dream.

Looks like the Jackets picked up a QB, RB and LB’r in the transfer portal. All 3 should make a splash next year in Atlanta 😁. Not much news from the portal with Penn St but somebody said we were gettin a WR or has he already committed?
@southern-psu-fan a wr with the last name of Cebus visited 2 weeks ago and was allegedly a lock to commit that weekend but it never happened. We’re striking out in the portal, USC and Meatchicken are kicking ass.
It’s looking like meatchicken is going to be a national championship contender for years to come.

Michigan is definitely on the rise homer and if they win the NC it’s going to get even harder to beat ‘em. I know it was last year but blowing that game against Michigan at home was a devastating loss. I don’t want Michigan in our head’s again. I believe Ohio St is falling off a little.

USC is going to come in and most likely be an immediate conference championship contender.
@psujoe I don’t think they’re good enough on defense today and Riley really ain’t never had a great defense but he is good on offense that’s for sure.
