I hope one of the young guys coming in can be consistent and accurate, because from what I read Landis has been anything but.  Missed 5 of 6 one day, and a bunch on other days?  Not inspiring.

Am I the only one that gets nervous when our field goal kickers come out? Kelly, Ficken they all made me nervous even the good ones we’ve had.

Kelly? He was pretty much automatic. Wasn’t there rumors that Gillikin wanted the kicking job, as well as punting? If I remember correctly, he was a pretty good kicker as well. I read that Franklin would prefer that the kicking and punting jobs be different guys, but if it has to be, he’s gotta do what’s best for the team. When does Pinegar get to campus and is he recovered from the knee injury?

After the Florida st game in 05 I cringed every time Kelly hit the field lol, he was good though. I think it was Alabama back in the late 80’s where we missed a chip shot field goal to win the game, I’ve been nervous with kickers ever since lol. Remember Blair Thomas tripped up and fell inside the 5 when he could’ve walked in for a TD if he didn’t trip?

Southern, I watched that BAMA game and the field goal was blocked after Blair Thomas fell close to the two yard line. That was a killer, man.
