There is a good article over at Lions247 where KJ Hamler discusses his goal of becoming not only the fastest guy on this years team but breaking the record for the 40-yard dash at Penn State.
Redshirt sophomore receiver/return man KJ Hamler is one of the fastest men on the Penn State football team, and that is a fact nobody will contest. Cornerback John Reid, who ran a blistering sub-4.4-second 40-yard dash last winter, said if the team had a 4 x 100-meter relay team, Hamler would be on it.
“It’s a battle, I know I’m on there,” Reid joked. “KJ is on it, you already know you’ve got (former PSU track standout and current WR) Dan Chisena on it. They’re two locks. I’m on one of the other positions.”
I am shocked that Journey Brown's name is not mentioned in the article as well. Perhaps he doesn't get to full speed in time for a 40 kind of like Usain Bolt. He usually hit full speed by about the halfway point and then just passed everyone.
What a great competition to have and shows that this Penn State team is full of speed. So what do you all think? Who is the fastest player on this seasons Penn State Football team?
