Expect to see both quarterbacks play Saturday.  Christian and Roberson will most likely get equal reps.

This falls under the definition of 'talking head'.  Based on what?  A Franklin interview where he talked and said nothing?  At practice they were both getting reps with the first team?

I've seen nothing credible.

@underlion  I’d feel better about our QB’s if there was talk of seeing both QB’s Saturday, I love to hear there’s  competition with the players.

Maybe I'm an optimist, but I take Franklin's comments to indicate Cliff will sit out (if possible) against the Illini with the hopes he's a go foe the Suckeyes.

Yea my Tarrot Card reader says Cliff sits.  Just common sense/probability.

She wasn't so committed on both QB's playing.  Her crystal ball (common sense) isn't so clear on that even though JF is signaling that he doesn't know and both are competing to play.

So I checked with another sooth sayer and they asked me why JF might suggest he has no decision on a starter.  I told her that maybe he doesn't want the opposing teams defense to be able to plan.  Or maybe he wants the backup to compete with the third string QB.  Or the third string QB to be more motivated.  But while the second string QB was totally failing at Iowa we didn't see any suggestion that the third string QB was available.  Why do we have a second string ad third string?  I just can't figure this out.

Maybe the Third string will play, who knows, maybe it will be limited with some plays he has worked on heavily but who really wants to predict that Roberson doesn't get 80% of the 'real game' work if he stays healthy?

Or maybe JF actually answers question because we the fans deserve to know.

@underlion

It's all because we don't have a depth chart, lol.
