Typical Mike Yurcich Results -- lots of points, lots of yards, lots of explosive plays -- via Unorthodox Mike Yurcich Methods. Interesting reac that outlines how the PSU OC has tailored his offense to better fit his personnel this season.

@southern-psu-fan

Like what I saw the past two games, but I am being cautious until they get through the next two weeks! Getting to the Big House at 5-0 is my focus and then I want to see how the offense plays against what should still be on a #4 ranked team. There is NO doubt Cliff & Co confidence is in a very good place now and they are starting to look like the "real deal"!

These guys still have a lot of work to do. Another two games should help them dial in and get them some extra experience as a unit before heading to Michigan!

GO STATE!!

Now that we've established the running game, maybe Jimmy will butt out & take the reins off Mike.

We don't know what Auburn is.  Purdue is more of a known and they played us and Syracuse even.

An average Auburn QB was 11 of 19 for 152 yards against us.  Not bad D but on several 3rd and longs the middle of the field was wide open.

We did pretty much stop the Auburn run, 119 yards averaging 3.3 ypc.  The QB had some long scrambles but OK.

Largely the game was won by being +4 in turnovers.  We did have two fumbles but didn't lose them.

477 total yards to 415 is not the blowout the score suggests and we will not always be positive in Turnovers.

I get it, we are giving Auburn reputation credit they have not earned thru 3 games.  Good away game experience for UM.

I don't think we learn much more until UM.  Maybe we learn how good Purdue and Auburn really are.  Oct 1 Purdue-MN, poor Auburn has Missouri and LSU the next 2 week.

@underlion  the 3rd and longs are killing us and that’s one reason I give Oklahoma and Clemson an edge on us. I believe we can beat Clemson and Oklahoma but we gotta get a little better at QB and do something to get off the field on 3rd downs. You give Clemson and Oklahoma extra sets of downs because you can’t get off the field on 3rd downs both teams will make you pay. Defense is good a dvits just Diaz 3rd game so I’m pretty confident they’ll get it fixed. 3-0 with a butt kicking on Auburn, I’ll take it
