@the-funeral-director We are #7 in NIL money right now and I keep hearing we’re going to go after guys a lot more aggressively but it sure doesn’t seem to be happening yet. I’m also hearing we’re may try to get a couple defenders to come back next year.

@rip rip, I was thinking about the 4th and 1 and at the time I thought it was not a great call but having time to think about it I believe I was the right call. Up 14-0 with a 5* QB and some studs up front playing SMU James Franklin was testing the offense to see if they could get him a yard and they didn’t get it done. James Franklin is always way ahead of everybody else he just that good. There was nothing wrong with him trusting the offense to get him a yard and the offense had to look at the defense as they come off the field. James Franklin is making the offense better by putting them in that situation. Up 14-0 he knew he was going to win that game anyway he was just challenging the offense hopefully he keeps challenging them because they need it. If it’s Oregon or Ohio St then punt. The offense should be ashamed of themselves for not getting that yard after their head coach trusted and sent them out there to get it!!!

IMO, several of the D players should come back, they will make more money than draft level, and if smart use that dough to start a long term investment account and keep everybody's hands out of it. Then go test the draft in 26, and not be empty handed 1 year later.
Jacobs, Dixon and King leaving early last year obviously made no sense and they could have had a huge impact on this years defense. Whoever is advising these guys is doing a bad job of it.
