Imagine you're an avid OSU wrestling fan the week before the rivalry match up against PSU. You come to learn that one of their wrestlers (Nolf) will be out of action and you Olympic Champion and World Champion heavyweight is coming back to the States to wrestle in this match. On paper, there is NO WAY your school is going to lose this match. But, as we all know, OSU lost that wrestling match to a school with an elite wrestling program. PSU found a way to win, that's what elite programs do.
What makes the wrestling program different from the football program?? Both have state of the art facilities. Both have the financial support behind them as well as top notch athletes and recruiting. Both programs have young coaches (Cael is around 39 or 40 I believe). Why is Cael an elite coach and JF isnt(YET)?? I think it boils down to gettting game experience in both the players AND the coaches. What we're coming to learn this week is that it wasnt JF that made the call but it was JF that took the heat for it. JF wont forget what happened the last two years and he certainly wont make the same mistake again. We're this close to being an elite team guys, dont lose hope yet. I firmly believe that we're on the cusp of being an elite program. Please reserve your judgement on the team and CJF until after the season is over.......they've certainly earned that much from us.
Penn st is a big dawg now bulldawgs, Texas and USC are to, since you’re not winning NC don’t mean you ain’t a big dawg. What makes you a big dawg is your past, present and what does your future look like. 409 wins baby defines the past, big 10 championship and 2 11 wins seasons, winning the big dawg bowl game defines the present and all the studs James Franklin is bringing in tells me big dawg days are ahead of us baby lol. I told y’all...great days are here brother lol. Just win baby!
