Clemson in hot water. Just dug themselves deeper with a fumble. Duke cashes in with a nice drive and 2 point conversion. 4th quarter which puts lots of pressure on Clemson. Upset city,Very possible.
Another costly mistake by Clemson with 5 minutes remaining. They went with NASCAR offense. Pass off fingertips right into the belly of a Duke defender. Game over. Clemson going down. This is college football folks. Anything is possible.
Y’all heard ole southern say it and I’ll say it again. Until Clemson fixes their QB position they’re going to be beatable pretty much every week. When you have a NFL QB like they did for 10 straight years you can hide a bunch of flaws. Clemson is an above average team unless they have a NFL future QB.
Said the same thing at end of last season. Clemson historically is a second to third tier team and like any other team in that bracket can get on a roll for several years and then flatten out to their historical playing record. In other words, Clemson is not a perennial top 5 team by history.

I'm sorry Southern, but it's not the QB position. When the starting QB from last year leaves and looks spectacular for Oregon State, and another 5* recruit takes over and looks pedestrian as well... there's something more than just a QB problem. DJ Uiagalelei looked like a different person on Sunday with the Beavers.

San Jose State... not great competition but he was 20-25 with 3 TD's.
