I thought it was borderline. It doesn’t matter because they missed the field goal anyway but how did ASU leave so much time on the clock? Seemed like they only ran about 15 seconds off on their final drive.

That was the definition of targeting...helmet to helmet hit on a defenseless receiver...PERIOD

Seems part of the targeting review has something to do with it possibly deciding the game?

When the game is on the line you’re not getting calls over Texas, Ohio St, ND and a few other teams. Is what it is.

The last play I saw in the OSU game looked like targeting by OSU.  Seemed nobody blinked...except the Oregon player.

It's a pattern to protect the sacred cows that has been exposed...That was as bad as the one Georgia had on Harrison, Jr a few years back that totally changed the complexion of that game...It was blatant and not called...Harrison, Jr was out with a concussion and on that day nobody from Georgia could cover him...He was the difference in the game and with him gone Georgia came back...Also something to note if that penalty was called Ohio State would have scored and put that game away...So it was a 2 sided dagger to them...This one yesterday was no less egregious and not called...Once is a mistake and now we have a 2nd instance of this baloney...

This might piss you off, but IMO it was called correctly in the OSU vs. Georgia game. The Georgia player hit him with his shoulder and not his the helmet. Hard hit doesn't = targeting.

The player didn't launch and didn't hit with the crown of the helmet. He ran through him while lowering his shoulder... which is allowed.

ND let off the hook twice here... that first one was definitely roughing the kicker

@roaminglion that’s BS should’ve been 15 yards
