Meh, maybe... I think he's still too close to his tenure at Miami for a big program to seriously consider him. Maybe if he wants to go to a group of 5 school, but IMO another year as a D coordinator here would really help him if he wants a good HC job again. One year removed from the debockle there is probably a bit too short.
Roam said Diaz was the escape goat gettin fired at Texas and it looks like he’s right but he just didn’t get it done in Miami as head coach. He kind of reminds me of Frost at Nebraska, it looked like they were getting better but struggled to put up wins. I hope he stays at least one more year but if he leaves Ga Tech would be a great stop for him 😂
If Franklin is smart, he'll do all he can ($$$$$) to keep Manny around.
Who knows, he may want nothing of the HC world again. Could be that DC is his wheel house.
Next year promises to be special. I think Diaz will want to be part of that. There are some interesting openings now but not sure the fit is right for him. Auburn goes through coaches like a big family of kids go through a box of Cheerios! Not sure he would want to go there. Hope he stays. He certainly is an excellent defensive coordinator.
