Can't remember the last time I was so disgusted with the goings on in the Beav that I had to leave early. From watching thousands of people exiting at half time while the game was tied and then watching thousands more leave when PSU was only up by 7 in the 4th to the swiss cheese defense that's become the norm under JF when PSU has a lead of double digits.

Not that those fans really mattered because they were sitting on their hands anyway.

Team didn't deserve to win and neither did the fanbase.

I'm sticking with my prediction of 8-4. Losses to pitt, msu,um and wiscy

Hate to say it but I kinda agree with the 4 losses. There comes a time when a great team/program just doesn't play with the type of consistency that this program has demonstrated. Sure there are some tight wins and losses but what I'm seeing is an average team living on a prayer so to speak vs just flat kicking butt when needing to. Maybe I'm just stuck back in the day of under center, power I, successful deep pass play to keep things exciting and O and D lines with big nasties that just smacked you in the mouth.

Really sad to hear the fans at the game were leaving early and such. That's BS, give the ticket to someone who wants to be there.

As for the game, the defense needs A LOT of work but hopefully we get better. Clemson beat Troy 30-24 in a game where they didn't look great, then won the NC. Not comparing us to Clemson in 2016, but just saying even good teams stink up the join against bad ones sometimes.

Though again, shame on the fans leaving for no good reason. Shame. Shame. Shame. That's bush league... To be clear not talking about you, but the others who probably just didn't care to much to begin with.

if I was in charge of tickets at Penn State, I'd almost want to lower the price to insure that more true fans get the tickets rather than the ones who are willing to pay but then don't show up. By lowering ticket prices you probably get more diehards who would scream their lungs out

I was yelling at people that were leaving when we were only up by 7 and was told be people in my party to sit down and shutup.

The defense definitely needs work. I'm actually just as worried about the O'line again.

The traffic situation is horrible. Many left early because of that. Unless it’s a blowout, that won’t happen with Ohio State.

Glad to see the "people in your party" were embarrassed enough by you to say what they thought!

Most of the people leaving were senile old ****s that should be giving their seats up to people that are actually there to root for the team and not just socialize.

I should have jumped down and slapped the shit out of at least one of them.

I could not agree with you more Remoh.  I witnessed the same and just wrote an article on the blog section calling out those who left early and posing the question why.

The traffic excuse is BS, it has been that way forever and if you don't like it don't buy tickets. With the improvements to roads in the area the traffic situation is actually better than it has ever been.

Great article Cave !! One thing that also continues to bother me that you may want to include in your next article on the subject is why can't a good portion of the students make it into their seats before we're halfway through the 2nd quarter? Is drinking in the parking lot so important to them that they miss the first third  of the game ?

I can tell you why I left at half time.  When pulling into the parking lot, my radiator blew off steam to the point they wanted to spray it with a fire extinguisher.  So I left it sit for the first half, snuck out of the game.  Filled the radiator up with water from half empty water bottles which were in the trash.  Then shot out of the lot with no traffic to the nearest viewing site and left the care cool down again.  Bought some water at Walmart and repeated the process until I got to a suitable garage for Tuesday repair.  That's as good excuse as any.
