Well it didn't take em long to move Bama to #1...Even though Clemson knocked their socks off last year it means nothing...That is the hypocrisy that I talk about...You hear about 3 and 4 years ago to defend this SEC nonsense and here we go 4 games in and this nonsense has begun...Notre Dame loses a game and remains in the top 10...Texas loses a game and they are ranked 11...They continue to prop up these sacred cows and the SEC...It truly is laughable...I am telling ya right now...Bama don't play anybody but if they did and lost 2 games it wouldn't matter because they would still put them in the tournament...I can guarantee you that 2 SEC teams, Clemson and Oklahoma will be in the tournament again...They just keep on playing with themselves...
Do you mean like how a 2 loss Texas A&M team that barely beat Arkansas and only has 2 other wins against Lamar and Texas State is still ranked in the top 25? Could this be because they playa Alabama next and Bama needs a ranked opponent?
See CA Governor passed some law where players get to collect endorsements. How long till Saban gets it passed in AL. Don't know what it means but clearly it will help recruiting some. CA law take precedent over NCAA Law? Boy that may cost Emeret some $.
Free votes without doing anything.
Ian it time to end the charade that D1 football players are amateurs?
Roam said the ncaa can keep the teams that players collect any kind of payed money out of championship games. I’m assuming that means bowl games do the teams in California will lose their butts off, right?
How does the NCAA limit the endorsements Governor? Oregon and MD (Nike and Underwear) could 'endorse' the whole team?
This should be interesting. NCAA 'agrees changes are necessary but should occur on the national level'. .. so the NCAA can maintain its power and $.

I'll believe it when I see it, Southern. I disagree with Roam. The NCAA will cave
I don’t think they will because college football will be over as we know it today. I agree with nitnation, if you pay one athlete then they all should get paid and colleges don’t have that kind of money. I’m just guessing though and trying to connect the dots on things I hear.
Also bob this is the first step to try and get rid of football. It’s not fair that everybody ain’t good enough to play in the NFL plus it’s dangerous and it hurts people lol. Plus little Johnny needs to decide if he’s a male or female before he or she decides to play football because somebody might make fun of him or her.

Disagree with what? I said the NCAA rules would allow them to do it when Southern asked if they could... I didn't say they would do it.
The sham just keeps going on and on and on doesn't it...At least now people are becoming wise to the B.S.
Sorry, I better start reading more closely. Anyway, I just don't think the NCAA would have the calhoons to take on the state of California!
Good point. You could even expand to ExonMobil supporting a Texas team. Microsoft a Washington Team, Facebook a California team, Coca Cola a Georgia team, etc. What's to stop them once the ball gets rolling?

So then we could be the Hershey Chocolate Nittany Lions of Penn State University and Reeses Pieces
Sounds like college football is going to become nascar with the sponsorship ideals.
At quarterback for the Nittany Lions, Sean "Starbucks" Clifford!
