Man, I was hoping to see #9 yesterday I was excited after watching that kid play in the Rutgers game.
@psujoe I agree with most of it but Yurcich track record doesn’t say he wants to run the ball especially when it’s not working this dude likes to air it out. I believe James Franklin was stepping in on keeping running the ball. James Franklin has been wanting to establish the run since he got here and this year ain’t no different. Something doesn't add up. Article states that MY was calling the game and all the run plays; JF states in a presser he wants to establish a run game. Who the hell is calling the offense? If MY is pass oriented then why throw him under the bus for calling run plays when as pointed out the passing game was wide open all game; I don't believe MY was calling run plays, if he was, (?)
I question the author based on him saying Yurcich should be fired. He has no idea what he is talking about if he think Yurcich was calling run play because he wanted to. That is Franklin, pure and simple. Plain as day, nothing in Yurcich's previous 9 years shows he is that stubborn with running the ball.
Franklin is the one who KEEPS PUSHING the narrative of committing to the run. Every damn press conference, every sideline report, all the time. Be is making Yurcich run, of this I HAVE ZERO DOUBT
