Hey, I just wanted to tell you that my Granfather's roomate at the VA hospital is a Notre Dame fan. My grandfather asked the dude if he is by any chance Culture Thrives from this forum. The guy at my pap like he had three eyes and my grandfather told him that he has "A BUDDY" on this forum that is a ND fan and they fire shots at one another. What im trying to say is dont take anything my grandfather says too personally. He respects you as a rival fan but will never admit to it. In fact, most of the stuff he posts on here im guessing he does with a smile on his face.

Hey Bulldawgs, that's great...Nothing like a ND fan to keep the feistiness in the old boy, (Im positive Im older than your grandfather)..
First of all, great to hear he's up and conversing, and I hope his discharge is imminent..Hope his health is improving, and that he's feeling much better..
Tell him I was honored he devoted a thread to me, and somewhat taken back when I saw my stage name..He gave me so many shots here,and in other threads, I finally gave him a long winded reply, which I had to cut short, I had much more..I was getting warmed up to PSU-Kentucky, but Il leave that for now..It's still there for his viewing and reading pleasure when he feels up to it..
One last shot for him though, tell him the way those PSU guys are bolting for the NFL, I hope they'll be able to field a team next yr..
He's asked me several times, why being a ND fan, I come here..You can tell him, I enjoy the banter, and enjoy hearing the views of the many knowledgeable posters here including your grandfather...And living in PA, Im surrounded with PSU talk anyway whether I seek it or not..
Great to see you taking care of your grandfather..I have two grandsons in late 20s who look after me, and we just made our plans this morning to watch together the Eagles-Bears on sunday.
