Norvill has stated he plans to coach in the bowl game, but remember, many coaches have said they have no plans on doing such and such, and a day later, they do just that, so who knows, but he did say he wants to coach for the bowl game.
I hate the fact that people are always trying to segregate a group of teams from the rest... They are all FBS, the best from their conference should represent in a playoff...
Practically speaking, they aren't on the level of the Power 5s. Not even close...
Memphis won their conference going 11-1. They have a better record than we do, yet everyone is pissed that we have to play them. If you think the other conferences deserve a spot, why are you so pissed we have to play them? Technically the only reason Memphis is ranked 17 and not higher is because the pollsters segregate the conferences, and place very little stock in who Memphis actually played.
The system is a joke and has been for a very long time...
FBS schools should all have a rep in the playoff, a real playoff...
I'm pissed because teams in this system that this dumb committee ranks will put teams ranked lower in NY6 bowls and leave out the teams that they just ranked higher... Fix the system
The "Power 5" was a name some dolts came up with to keep other FBS schools out. They always did and when the system changed I predicted some stupid club would be formed or renamed... I give you the Power 5
Exactly right the system is a joke and the greatest Joe Paterno called these people out for 50 years and when they got the chance they punished him for it. I’ve said many times I do not believe games are fixed but who gets in certain games is fixed if it comes down to opinion which most of the time it does. Y’all heard the dudes calling the Wisconsin and Ohio st game campaigning for Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl because that’s what they were told to say. Both of them dudes know we’d dominate Wisconsin just like James Franklin has every time he’s played’em, they know.
