Don't forget how much emphasis James Franklin puts on the classroom. He is doing more than creating great football players, he is molding boys into men both on and off the field.

The academics issue is the thing that makes him stand out. When he was being mentioned as a candidate for USC, one comment was that his recruiting would be easier because the academic standard would not be as high as at PSU. He has earned the respect.
