Thus far Comcast and BTN have not agreed to a contract for the upcoming season. A lot of folks will have to find other sources to watch PS this fall. If there is no contract folks might have to look at a streaming service to view the games. Comcast is losing thousands of customers every month to cord cutters. This tactic certainly won't boost their subscribership.
Comcast sucks. I have DirecTV and they suck too. What streaming services shall they use?
DTV Now, Hulu w/ live TV, You Tube TV, and PS Vue to name a few. Problem is, it will be an additional monthly cost for something that is now included in our monthly subscription.
mb my friend I hope you are doing well. mb, I pay $170.00 a month for DTV and they ain’t crap on tv. I do have 3 big 10 channels during football season which is great. 5 mores weeks buddy and we’ll get some penn st football, can’t wait. Well my wife gets her Christmas channels lol
Lol My wife watches xmas movies in the summer on the Hallmark channel. smh
Same here mb and spf.
I left Directv after 10 years once AT&T took them over. In the 1 1/2 years with AT&T, the company declined considerably. Issues with their apps, customer service was awful, and hardware was not being innovated.
Went to Dish Network and couldn't be happier. The Hopper 3 is very stable and smooth, and the Dish anywhere app works flawlessly. I can take my Fire Stick anywhere and watch live TV or recorded shows on my DVR from anywhere with WiFi. Only thing I don't get anymore is NFL Sunday Ticket, but I really had just started to watch the RedZone channel anyway.
Hulu w/live tv looks pretty darn tempting!
Wow, that sucks. Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with your providers. If I want to watch a game on ESPN, I turn on the TV and it's there. If I want to watch a game on BTN, I turn on the TV and it's there. If I want a certain channel, like ESPN U , I call customer service and request it. Reset the TV, and it's there. Sounds like some of you are getting robbed.
Wow Aristes must be a really cool town!.Maybe we should all move there.
I don't live there.
YEA OK!! Can't say I blame ya for denying it.
I'm just telling you the truth. Hershey pa, the sweetest place on earth. For now it is. Lots of acquisitions going on for Hershey corporation. Any reasonable offer comes through, bye bye Hershey. They'll move out like they talked about before. You make it sound like everything gets gold plated in Hershey.
I always thought everything in Hershey was chocolate-covered.
If, by the slimmest chance, you knew anything about the Hershey Co. and their owner, Hershey Trust, you would understand how improbable your post is!
When, where and what have I ever said on this forum about Hershey that makes you say everything is gold plated?
The Hershey Trust has never talked about leaving town . Apparently mine drainage is still seeping into your Aristes tap water and I told you years ago to stop drinking it. Obviously it's killing the few brain cells you have left.
He's an F'n moron, don't try to explain anything to him.
I think it very unlikely Hershey would move lock stock and barrel for several reasons: 1. State of the art manufacturing facilities that would be difficult to cost effectively reproduce 2. Ample availability of a quality workforce at reasonable wages 3. Proximity to major markets with ease of access to roads, trucking companies and rail service. All 3 of the mentioned support low cost manufacturing and supply chain efficiencies. Last and perhaps most important is their (family) brand is also the name of the city, what a calamitous public relations blunder that would be. In the event Hershey were acquired, Corporate HQ might move but not much else.Of course all of this is my humble opinion but I’ve been around this before.
Any talk of Hershey relocating is so inconceivable it's not even worth discussing. And as far as the company being taken over by merger is also a stretch. A couple of years ago the Trust turned down an offer from Mondelez (Kraft Foods) for $23B. And if I recall correctly, Mondelez offered to relocate their HQ's to Hershey. So, if the Trust turned down that deal, don't look for Hershey leaving its namesake any time soon.
Hulu Live will give you all the sport channels you need.
