You put these 2 teams in the B1G east division and they have 3 losses...I ain't impressed with either of these teams...Georgia does not belong in the CFP...That is all there is to it...
@southern-psu-fan WOW the south won a trophy that generally resides in the northeast. Even the Phillies win the world series more often than the Braves! I do have to admit that i was impressed by your parade. That was the first time in my life that I've seen one of those traveling at 50MPH, blink and you missed it lol.

@the-funeral-director you put Alabama and Georgia in the big 10 and all the teams they play will have one more loss lol
You are in dreamland...not this year...Bama shoulda lost to Auburn...hahahahaha...They are a joke...This whole thing is a farce...
@the-funeral-director FD, Saban is 4-4 at auburn so that tells you how hard it is for Alabama to go play there it’s brutal for ‘em. You need to watch the iron bowl and you’ll see how tough that game is.

Southern rides around in his truck all day listening to Paul Finebaum to make himself feel better and that's how he comes up with his "Bama would blah blah blah if it played in the north" and Georgia would beat blah blah if they played them".

Always an excuse...You play the game...If you win you move on...If you lose you go home...Georgia needs to go home...They lost...They played a weak schedule in a weak league...They don't deserve to be in a 4 team playoff ahead of conference champions and a 1 loss Notre Dame...There are only 4 teams in this thing...2 teams from one league should never be in it...
@the-funeral-director teams from Georgia cry the best and have the prettiest cheerleaders!

Just keep in mind the 1st conference that ever got a non champion in the playoff? The Big 10, not the SEC.

Are you arguing for or against championship game losers in?

Neither, I've said multiple times that I hate this 4 team system and I'd rather them go to 8 or 12 team playoff.
At that point yeah, I guess some non-champs would get in but Not at the expense of an actual Power 5 conference champion.
For what it's worth, if Michigan wins the 4 teams I'd put in would be Alabama, Michigan, Cincinnati, and Notre Dame.
I agree with you Roam...With the current 4 team playoff only conference champs, an unbeaten non power 5 team or an undefeated or 1 loss Notre Dame should get in...These conference championship games are playoff games to me...
@the-funeral-director ND lost to Cincinnati and Georgia lost to #1 Alabama, come on man
Here is the difference...Cincy is undefeated and Bama lost to A&M and shoulda lost to Auburn...The SEC hasn't played anybody...When they did they got beat...That conference isn't that good...So Notre Dame has 1 loss to an undefeated team...I put them in over a team that just got their rear ends kicked in a conference title game...Sorry if you can't win your conference you don't deserve to play for a national title...
@the-funeral-director then ND shouldn’t get in they didn’t win a conference at least Georgia played for one.
right...Georgia played for one and LOST...Therefore they should be OUT...Notre Dame isn't in a conference so they don't play for a conference title...Like I said...Pick from the 5 conference champs, Cincy and Notre Dame...Everybody else is out...That is how it should be...

Can you not see your own bias? You keep bringing up the Big 10 and the teams we beat out of conference, then when pointed out that the SEC actually beat ranked teams out of conference and the Big Ten didnt you just fall back on some ranking conspiracy or dismiss any ranked team by saying "they're just average"
Who did the SEC beat out of conference that was ranked this year? What current top 20 team did the SEC beat out of conference this season? I know Bama beat a Miami team that isn't good...Georgia beat an average Clemson team 10-3...LSU lost to UCLA, Auburn to Penn State, Mississippi State to Memphis...Am I missing a big win by the SEC?
I know Minnesota beat Colorado on the road 30-0...The same Colorado team that took A&M to the end and shoulda beat em..I know Iowa beat Iowa State on the road as well...I know Notre Dame beat Wisky and Purdue...Oregon caught Ohio State at the right time and beat them...Again am I missing something?

NC State and Clemson are both ranked in the top 20, and both lost to SEC teams.
Sorry.
Oh... let me guess... " Neither is very good and I don't consider them top 20 teams"
Those are 2 huge wins...Georgia beat Clemson the first game of the season and they got a win against NC State...Just so happens they both play in the ACC which is the weakest conference this year of the power 5 conferences...Did they have any wins outside of the ACC?

There it is, lol! "Who did they beat who are ranked? Oh... Well they shouldn't be ranked because the conference sucks!"
Why ask who the SEC beat in the top 20 if you were just going to ignore the rankings anyway?
How did they do against the B1G, Pac 12 or Big 12?
How did they do against the B1G, Pac 12 or Big 12?
Let me ask you this, are you just gonna keep asking questions until you get an answer you like?
What was the purpose of asking what ranked teams the SEC beat if it didn't matter anyway?
I don't care to look at every single team's record against those conferences, you have at it if you want. I'm not the one arguing that the SEC is some sham conference that sucks compared to other conferences... you are.
I don't think the SEC is some great, unbelievable, unbeatable conference... and I also don't think it's some crappy conference either. It's probably from top to bottom just the same as most other power conferences in most years.
It's tough to build an out of conference resume' when you are playing Mercer, New Mexico State, Southern Miss, South Carolina State, UAB, Georgia Tech etc...My argument regarding the weakness of the SEC is when the rank and file left the conference they got beat...The B1G 10 lost to Notre Dame and Oregon...The rest of the top teams losses came within the conference...They lost to teams with 1 loss or who played for a conference title...I think the B1G, Pac 12 and Big 12 were much better conferences this year than the SEC and the ACC was in my opinion the weakest conference of the 5...Top to Bottom the B1G and specifically the B1G eastern division was the best conference in the country...that is my opinion...
