Lt. General Richard Clark is the College Football Playoff executive director, meaning he runs the CFP. Here is his resume:

  • He most recently served as the Superintendent for the U.S Air Force Academy. Prior to this, Clark served as the U.S Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Deterrence & Nuclear Integration at the Pentagon and was selected as a White House Fellow to serve as a key advisor to the Secretary of Labor.
  • During his 38 year Air Force career, Clark served three combat tours and received numerous awards and decorations: including the Distinguished Service Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross.
  • He is also a graduate of of the U.S Air Force Academy.

It would be interesting to see someone go explain to this man that his job is a scam, and how he and his coworkers are easily manipulated by TV executives.

Because it is a scam...This is how they set this up...They create a "committee"...Load it up with "The most qualified people beyond reproach" and then these people do as they are told to create the outcome the people that appoint the committee want...The truth is there doesn't need to be a "committee" at all...You have 4 conference champs and 4 runnerups...there is an automatic 8...You take 2 from the group of 5 or 1 from the group of 5 and Notre Dame and now you have 10...Now you pick 2 at large teams and the 2 at large teams assume the lowest seeds...They are 11 and 12 and travel to 5 & 6...They use this "committee" nonsense to put in who they want in...So yes it's a scam...This isn't rocket science here...

Great, you go tell a 4 decade decorated officer that he's a sell out and part of a scam. Good luck.

Yeah, I'm sure this guy just bends over and does what he's told by some ESPN exec. Makes sense... I guess you believe pushovers lead our service academies. I give this man more credit than that, I think he's earned it.

Follow the money Roam!

I feel like someone who has served his country for 40 years with distinction, as well as lead a service academy, has earned at least enough respect to not call him a sellout and scam.

Amen to that!

Roam, I believe you’re wasting time with these guys. They will never be satisfied with the new playoff format and nor will they ever be satisfied.  The college SCAM conspiracy theories live on in their heads 365/24/7.

ESPN lives rent free in their heads

@mastert get a CFP system that you earn your way in without anybody’s opinions and we’ll all be happy. Look no further than the NFL.

They would never put anybody on the committee who isn't part of the scheme...If you don't play ball they won't appoint you to the committee...That is the beauty of the "committee"...The person with the desired outcome gets to appoint who is put on the "committee"...Whenever I hear that an entity has appointed a "committee" and especially when there is a large sum of money involved I always immediately look to how this "committee" was appointed and who is in charge of the so called "committee"...ESPN is the decider here...You say nobody listens or pays attention to Dinich or the guy who wrote that computer rankings piece...Well it is important enough to ESPN to put that content out there front and center to make sure as many people consume those pieces as possible...All part of the disinformation and propaganda campaign to protect their brand...10's of Billions of dollars are in play here...You are quite naive if you believe after what you have seen over the years that this is an honest process...As I have said before...It took me 45 seconds to come up with 4 conference champs, 4 conference runner ups...2 group of 5 or 1 group of 5 and Notre Dame...2 at large teams who take up the 11th and 12th seeding slots...Don't need a committee...With some thought you could come up with an air tight system to determine the last 2 at large teams and that takes all the computers, "committee's" & nonsense out of it...They will never do that because that would be an honest system...This is why they need a "committee" and why this is a scam...

So you are saying a 40 year vet who lead a service academy has no integrity.  Got it.

So let me ask you something Roam...I love and respect our military...You are telling me none of those Generals ever did anything shady? I don't know this guy from a can of paint...He may be a great guy who has done many great things which I am sure he is both of them...If he is part of this "committee" he is part of the scheme...There is no need for a "committee" as this could be solved in about 2 minutes...So yes this General or whatever officer rank he holds is part of the deal...I was just up at West Point on Saturday and have some hooks up there at the academy so I am gonna look up this guy...Cause if I happen to run into him I am going to ask him why is something so simple made so complicated? Depending on the General's answer I will tell him to his face it is a scam...Which I already know it is by the past "committee's" decisions...So there you have it...

There is a point about committee membership where as if selected, you have ask yourself several questions:

  1. Why was I selected
  2. Am I suppose to go along in support of the status quo and be voice of objectivity and neutrality
  3. Am I suppose to be quiet and go along for the ride
  4. Was I brought in to be the adversarial messenger of contention.

At this level of membership, there is a reason for each member sitting at that table.

So in summation... you say you respect the military, but in reality you don't. Because you wouldn't call into question a 40 year veteran's character because he was selected to sit on a football committee if you did.

You'd at least respect that maybe he wanted to change it, or felt he could bring some respectability to it.

But no... you just skip straight to he's knowingly part of the scam. Because yeah, 40 years of service and becoming Superintendent of the Air Force Academy? That's not enough to show any sort of integrity that just maybe he isn't a pawn. Nope. He's obviously part of the scam. Yup... that's so respectful.

We’re not questioning his military record we’re questioning his CFP committee shit. The system is rigged for getting the teams in they want in if not we’d have a system where you earn your way in, it’s not hard to do.

Effing BS. You are questioning his integrity plain and simple. You're saying a decorated 40 year vet is dirty, or a scam artist, simply because he joined a committee. It didn't even occur to you that maybe he wanted to change it, or thought he could bring some credibility to it. Nope, just right to he's a scam artist.

Conspiracy theories make it real easy to chit all over someone simply because you can.

I am not questioning anything about his military service and have nothing but respect for his service to our country...This has nothing to do with the military at all...I am merely pointing out a few things... #1 Why do we need a "committee" at all? #2 If this can be solved with a simple system as I have put together in about 45 seconds regarding the 12 teams that qualify what is the purpose of this "committee" #3 One has to wonder why this system that clearly states who is in and who is out hasn't been implemented? Perhaps is it a stretch to think that this system of qualification which is clear and concise hasn't been put in place in lieu of this "committee" is for the powers at be to be able to control who is put in this playoff? Why not remove all the ambiguity involved with the participants in this tournament? Make it a simple qualification system...I can tell ya why...Because it's rigged...It has been rigged since the beginning...They have been using some cock and bull computer system in conjunction with a "committee" to make sure a desired outcome comes to pass...10's of billions of dollars are at stake here and ESPN controls the game...They paid for the rights and it is gonna be done their way and in a way that benefits them most...This isn't brain surgery here...You got 12 teams...The 4 conferences get their champs in and they get a bye...The next 4 in are the conference runner ups...You have 2 of the group of 5 teams in or 1 group of 5 and Notre Dame if they qualify...2 at large teams which come either from an undefeated group of 5 team or pick 2 3rd place teams from the power 4  conferences...That took me 45 seconds to come up with...I don't need a committee...Clean and the outcome of games count...No computers...No Bullcrap...Why is that so difficult? I gave you the answer above...Beware of "committees" people...

BS. You are questioning his and every committee members integrity and calling them sellouts and pushovers because you don't like the system.

It's real easy to say a system is rigged, but a lot harder to call someone a scam artist with zero intergity. But that's exactly what you are doing.

Well let me ask you a question Roam...I believe the system is rigged...I just explained it all to you in my posts listed above...The only reason why there isn't automatic qualifiers and a set qualification system that forces teams to earn their way in through winning ballgames...I set the whole thing up in 45 seconds...So why isn't there a qualification system set up without any ambiguity? I will give you that answer...Because it is rigged...ESPN has paid 10's of billions for the rights to this thing...They want their teams in...That is why there is no set system...So they set up a system designed to rig who is in with some nonsensical computer rating in tandem with a "committee"...So yes...If you are part of the committee you are in on the scam...As they used to say years ago...If the shoe fits wear it...My take is if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and shits like a duck it's a duck...Folks...This is a duck...I don't think I can spell it out any more clearly for ya...

The funeral system is rigged, and it preys on greiving widows and families to jack up prices and make them think that they need expensive caskets to make them feel better. People who run them are part of the system, it's a scam. They make money off of sadness. It's all rigged to steam money from those left behind.

They make people prepay and prepare for their own death by guilting them into not having their kids pay for it. It's obvious, but no one sees it. Everyone involved knows it, a casket doesn't cost $5000 but it's the system we have. They don't want to change it because they make too much money on it.

Now if I really believed that, you bet your ass I'd know I was implying everyone involved in that system was a con artist and terrible person. That's why I am not jumping on board with you to just flatly call everyone in the CFP committee a PoS who cares only about money.

It ever occur to you that since it's inception, it's always been polls? Since like effing 1895? Maybe... just maybe some people like tradition? It's just way easier to call it a conspiracy, throw everyone involved under the bus, and act like you're one of the few that truly "sees it". It's so simple, and not a complex set of history, tradition, and human factors all in one. Nope... just money. Which didn't even exist really until the 80s or 90s, yet college football was still using polls back in the 30s and 40s when it was just another sport like any other.

But yes, I am certain in 1895 when they set it all up... some cabal knew that money and polls would eventually bring them power, control, and money.

Terrible analogy Roam...In fact your argument has nothing to do with the college football playoff system or setup...#1 I don't "make" anybody do anything...People are free to contact who they choose at that time to take care of their loved one...People are free to choose what service they want or don't want...In fact if the folks know how to fill out the permits and can get a licensed Funeral Director to sign a death certificate and secure a permit for them they really almost can do it themselves if they so choose...HOWEVER in the case of the college football playoff system...The participants are FORCED to abide by the decision of a nonsensical computer program and a "committee"...The bottom line is this...It would be easy for them to incorporate a system that easily spells out who is in or who is out...4 conference champs...4 conference runner ups...2 group of 5 or 1 group of 5 and Notre Dame if they qualify...2 at large teams picked from the 3rd place finishers of the power 4 conferences or another undefeated group of 5 team...Simple...No ambiguity...Why don't they have this Roam? Something so easy...So straight forward...Why do we have this bullshit computer program and a "committee"? Ask yourself...You are a smart guy...educated...an academic...Use your cognitive thinking skills here...Why? The answer is simple...so they can rig the system and put in who they want...It's the only reason you would do this...They money guy gets to pick the teams that are in...With a set system they can't choose who is in...It's decided for them by the results of the game...They already have their surrogates out there writing pieces telling you the outcome of games don't matter...A loss is sometimes better than a win...on and on...The propaganda and the spin is on...When they tell you what they are doing believe em...It's rigged...

The "committee" is created and there to make sure the conclusion the money people want comes to fruition...There are enough people on that "committee" to be able to carry through with the predetermined plan...There may be 2 or 3 people depending on the size of the "committee" that aren't in on the scheme...I don't know how many people are on this "committee" so if this is a large group there could be 3 or even 4 of em that might not have a clue of what the end result is going to be but the majority of those "committee" members are going in there with a predetermined outcome based upon what the money people want...That is the only reason this "committee" exists...It would be easier and far more transparent to do as I suggested and make everything automatic and earned in...Yes I am saying the "committee" is a scam and the vast majority of the people on that "committee" are in on the scam...They may be using the General just for his status to give the scam more gravitas and he may not have a clue...I can tell ya the money people already know who they want in and will tie themselves into pretzels to get the teams they want in...The games are a mere mirage that hold little weight as to who is in or out...

  1. I said I didnt believe it
  2. Still seemed to hit a nerve enough that you had to explain yourself
  3. You are doing the same thing to anyone on the committee

You keep trying to explain it to me and won't just plainly say it... you're okay calling a 40 year vet and Air Force Superintendent corrupt. You think he's a scam artist. Just say it.

I don't... and think you're so far inside your own conspiracy that you think fucking Heather Dinich manipulates him and others. Even when everything she printed last week did not come true. Litterally. every. Single. Thing. you said would happen in the polls..... DIDN'T.

You said you'd be shocked if Alabama left the top 5. We'd be behind Georgia. Texas A&M would jump into the top 10. None of it happened.

Influence is very different that accepting payoffs, scamming people, and being corrupt.

The CFP committee knows Penn St beat Ohio St on the field and won the big 10 but they still believe Ohio St is the better team 😂 on the field results didn’t matter because the CFP committee wanted Ohio St…total BS imo
