@psujoe   I’ve tried to post articles too and I ain’t had no luck. I’m pulling for him to be good. I do believe now after the 11-2 season winning the Rose Bowl James Franklin was right on sticking with Clifford. Results matter especially winning the Rose Bowl 😁

Will be interesting to see who & when he gets drafted. And then see if he actually produces. Or just fades away like Hack.

I don't get Levis at all. He wreaks of "He's got a big arm" scout nonsense

I thought Murray left the forum? The big promotions, "don't pay a dime to be recruited". Insider info.

A lot of good/great college QBs in the past just didn't have the processing capability to play at the NFL speed and complexity level.

I think he does just fine as long as he has the QB IQ that it takes.

That's exactly why I don't get it... he played in a pro system at Kentucky, yet struggled big time against anyone who had a good defense because he was bad at reading the D.

3OCs in 3 years, the last one was fired; surrounding O wasn't great, not excuses but reality. I think in the right system, lol, he does okay. But, like I said above, it's gonna boil down to what's between the ears and can he process all that info in about 3 seconds. I hope he smokes it in the NFL, hell its been along time since the NFL has had a starting PSU QB.

I wish him well, I just dont get the hype. In 5 years of college he couldn't beat out Clifford and had pedestrian numbers in 2 year at Kentucky.

I mean, I get why you would draft him... but not 1st round let alone the #1 pick.

With Levis’ success, what does that say about Franklin’s talent assessment?

 Like the Tuna said, You are what your record says you are and we’re an 11-2 team ranked 7th that’s the facts. There’s a 125 teams that would trade places with Penn St in a minute but we do need to get a win against Michigan or Ohio St every year…that’s just my opinion though

What success has he had other than stats against bad defenses?

Excellent point. Not my assessment but apparently many “football talking heads” and NFL scouts think Levis is the real deal.  Time will tell.

@sky

Talking heads are gonna talk and scouts are gonna scout.  Both these "pundits" are gonna hit on somebody "outside the box" occasionally, in an attempt to show they're smarter than the average bear, lol.
