His championships do matter I’m just saying it will be an uphill battle from here on out to win the big 10 again because penn st and Michigan are getting stronger by the year and it’s just to many hurdles for them to climb. They’re back to 6 to 9 wins a year from here on out but that don’t mean they can’t sneak a 10 win season every now and then because Dantonio is a good coach. When penn st and Michigan were down and for different reasons Michigan state was able to get a few recruits that they probably wouldn’t have had penn st and Michigan was on their A game in recruiting.

Ceetainly DANTONIO has accomplished much at MSU, as you and others have pointed out, I can certainly relate to an argument that he is Big 10s best..But here's another way I looked at the question..Going forward from today, if youre an AD, what Big 10 coach would you want..Id go with JH; He's only 55, and arguably could have best if not great days ahead of him..Dantonio is 63, has had  health issues, and it feels like he has peaked at MSU..

So Penn State wasn't good at recruiting back in 2010 when MSU won the Big Ten?

Michigan had 3 straight top 10 recruiting classes up to that year too.

But yeah, keep telling yourself that it was all because PSU and UM were down.

Let's put it this way... for Harbaugh to accomplish what Dantonio has at Michigan State (where it is harder to win in the first place), he would have to:

Win the division 4 times in the next 7 years, win 3 Big Ten Championships, win 11 games or more 5 times, and go to a CFP.

Considering Harbaugh hasn't done any of those things once yet, I doubt he'll do all that in 7 years. Again, I am not saying he isn't a great coach... but man o man some of you are just going on faith with him. Never won a damn thing yet it's non stop excuses as to why it hasn't happened for him

Considering the 8 million plus he's being paid, he is the most overpaid and overrated coach in college football. Of course he can change that by actually winning a conference championship... you know... at least once.
