What is your favorite Beaver Stadium memory?  In order to qualify, the event must have taken place at Beaver Stadium.  You must have seen it as it happened, either at the Beav or on TV, or heard it's broadcast on the radio as it occurred. Try to confine it to one event, such as McCloskey's catch rather than beating Nebraska in 1982.

Mine is A Rob's catch against UM in 2013

So many.  But I'll go with that cold snowy Oct.29, 2011 game against Illinois.  Not many of us left by the end, but to be there for Joe's last win, "Oh What A Night".  409 FOREVER.  RIP-JVP !!!!!!!!!

Sitting in Beaver Stadium, 11/18/89, watching the no. 1 ranked Irish demolish the 17th ranked Lions 34-23, punishing ground game , 425 yards on ground, led by QB Tony Rice rushing for 141, and Ricky Watters, Anthony Johnson, and the Rocket all heavy contributors..Notice, two Pa guys in that backfield..An awesome backfield ALL SEASON..

Hey Homer,

Penn St returned the favor the following year in South Bend.

Wow. This is near impossible. I’ll throw out my top few. I can’t possibly narrow it down to one.

*Lavar Leap

*Aaron Harris TD vs Ohio St in ‘97

*Rich Gardner pick 6 vs Nebraska ‘02

*Tamba Hali sack vs Ohio St ‘05

There’s others. Too many to narrow it down.

CT, we got revenge the next year knocking off the Irish when y’all were ranked #1 if I remember right because my Yellow Jackets went on to win the NC but my favorite win at beaver Stadium was the azz kicking we put on Ohio st in 94 😁

Still trying to figure out how we beat a team ranked #14 so badly and actually lost votes that week.

That was hardly a demolishment southern, in fact Rocket was running wild in 1st half pacing Irish to a 21-7 half time lead….ND was actually driving near end of half when Rocket sustained an injury and was lost for rest of game....Put an asterisk next to that one, I always have..

It was a good win, just  a bit tainted..ND was the better team, finishing no. 6 in AP poll, to PSU's no. 11...You say Ga tech won title, Colorado won AP title, I think...that's the same year Colorado beat ND 10-9 in orange bowl, when Rocket's last minute apparent game winning punt return for a TD, was nullified by a phantom clip, Rocket was already past the alleged infraction..Rocket was one of  a kind..

Colorado also got 5 downs to win another game. It was a complete joke Colorado shared the NC just another case of just picking who they want to be crowned NC’s.

November 21, 1987.  Unranked PSU beats a highly ranked neuter dam team 21-20.  Blair Thomas rushed for over 200 i believe and our defense made Tim Brown look like a pre-schooler.  Im thinking he rushed for negative yards against us. In fact, he was pretty much a non factor for the whole game.  As a matter of fact, he was pulled from the game and never finished according to my journal. (Yep, i kept a journal of every PSU game I went to)  The Fainting Iwish went for two to win the game but Tony Rice was TFL to seal the deal for us.

But what really stands out to me was the brutal cold during that game.  I'll say it again, it was cold enough to freeze the nuts off a bridge that day.  And boys, its really hard to believe that was over 30 years ago.  WOW!!!

Lastly, and Roam im counting on you to verify this one; I think Neutral Dumb has only won one game at Beaver stadium.

In case Roam is busy, I believe you're right Tsuga.  Unless you count a  ND win in 1913 at Beaver Field (ND 14 - PSU 7.

I was there too, Tsuga, 11/21/87...Ive been to many a cold, even freezing football game, including Eagles playoffs in January, but there isnt even a close 2nd to 11/21/87, BY FAR the coldest game I ever attended..

I have never forgot that game with the weather at top of list...and I thought both teams played remarkably well given the conditions..
