he needs to watch leading with the helmet on tackles. He had a couple of plays where it was very close on being called for targeting one being the last play of the game against Iowa. He needs to be careful because we can’t afford to lose him and we dang sure don’t need the penalty.

Just like holding, targeting could almost be called on every play.

A good many of the targeting calls are the fault of the offensive player lowering his head at the last instant. I hope that they adjust the rule for next season.

He doesn't really tackle, watch his replays; he hits, that's not gonna work for the long haul.
