Alabama....4-0 vs top 25...wins over #22, #3, #16 and #4

ND....4-0 vs top 25.....wins over #14,#7,#24 and #12
Oklahoma....2-1 vs top 25....wins over #13 and #14 and a loss to #19
Ohio State....5-0 vs top 25....wins over #15,#9, #18, #4 and #21
GA....4-2 vs top 25....wins over #24, #9,#9, #24 and losses to #13 and #1
So how did the Sooner's become one of the top 4 with THEIR body of work? Look, Ohio State had some struggles, but they won the big games. GA ahead of Ohio State is also a little troubling. Sure, they gave Bama all they could handle, but getting fired up for one game and playing in GA helped a lot.
The more I think about this, the more I think Ohio State got shafted!
Where are you getting these numbers? Are these the ridiculous "ranked at the time" numbers from the schedules?
Only three teams on Ohio State's schedule are ranked: Penn State, Michigan, and Northwestern. I mean, are we really counting TCU and Michigan State as "ranked teams"?
Oklahoma played MORE ranked teams than Ohio State. Texas twice, Iowa State, and West Virginia. TCU finished the year 6-6 and uunranked... You are counting TCU in OSU's total because they were ranked when they played them, but Oklahoma plays the same exact team and gets zero credit because they were unranked by then? Come on
Oklahoma is the only team in the playoff that has a college wrestling program.
I know they got shafted. It’s ohio st this year but it might be us next year. This scam espn committee cannot be trusted.
just deal with it Roam lol
just deal with it Roam lol
but I don't wanna 😭😭😭😭
I think the Purdue thing is the issue. Sometimes it's not what you do that decides, it's what you don't do. In this case beating Michigan was impressive, especially the way they did it. But it's not beating Purdue and giving up close to half a hunnert. Just as in 2016. anOSU and the BT Championship games were impressive, but the loss at Michigan was too much for us to overcome.
The system is chit, it’s that simple navyjag.
Not disagreeing. What if Georgia, Florida and Alabama played every year the same way that Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State do every year? Navigating the BT East is one of the toughest tasks in CFB. (I know that anOSU's loss was a crossover game, but taking on the BT East every year wears a team down, and ripe for a difficult cross over team.
Georgia would kick the butts of N. D., Oklahoma and give Clemson a run for their money. Georgia had a total of 8 points they got beat by.
Georgia lost to LSU by 20 points... So no, they didn't have "a total of 8 points they got beat by"
Hey Steaky, good to hear from ya.
Georgia would beat Clemson IMO
How you doing lioninsa? Are you satisfied with the season and the bowl game we got? We had a pretty good season but we need to finish by kicking Kentucky’s butt and get that 10 win season.
I am trying to figure out how the committee passed #15 Texas over three teams to play in one of the committees bowl games. I guess a loss to Maryland does not hurt your chances in their eyes. I have to agree with Southern this committee is a big scam, no better then the previous ways of determining national champs. Although it would be much better if expanded to 8 teams.

they didn't pass over them because they thought they were better, the Big 12 is contractually obligated to go to the Sugar Bowl. since Oklahoma is in the college football playoff, the runner-up from the Big 12 goes no matter what their rank is.
