Interesting watch. Hope they show more of Pry's coverage concepts/tendencies, because it seems to be what most fans complain most about. Host talks about LSU and Alabama having the athletes at corner to run more press man and man coverage...well, don't we have those type of guys now? Secondary, particularly corner, has to be our deepest unit.
IMO Pry is the weakest link. Hope he gets his act together this year. I think we have the offense to get us to the big dance, but we need his D to hold up their end of the bargain.
I like Brent Pry and I’m pulling for him but watching our DE’s gettin drafted in the NFL as high as they did makes me worry a little bit. Hopefully it’s just one of those years lol. I don’t mind the soft coverage because the longer the offense is on the field the more likely they make a mistake but last year we couldn’t get the stop.
This is all I am going to say about this subject! I don't know the first thing about coaching football or being a DC. But when I when sit in the stands ( or in front of the TV) and I can predict what play is about to be called and HE doesn't see it???
