WV beats NCAR. I guess WV would be comparable to an average big 10 team.
2 teams we beat have won their bowl games so far.
North Carolina was without their Heisman candidate QB. Bowl games don't matter anymore, the teams aren't playing with their top players. They are glorified pre-season games to play younger guys, or people who were lower on the depth chart.WV beats NCAR. I guess WV would be comparable to an average big 10 team.
If Ole Miss tears up our defense, who cares... half the starters aren't playing.
@roaminglion I thought Chop was the only player not playing?
I’m ready to end bowl games and go to a 24 or 32 game playoff system and end the season for all the other teams.
I thought King and Dixon werent playing as well. Though I was wrong about Jacobs and Iasac, they annouced for the draft but will play.
@roaminglion Last I read, like SPF said, Chop is the only one sitting. The rest sounded like would take limited reps. But who knows until it really goes down? Was kind of hoping Chop would see his teammates playing and would reconsider....wishful thinking.
@been-there-ii that’s what I’m hearing, Chop is the only one not playing and the rest of the guys headed to the NFL will play sparingly in this game including Fashanu.
Doesn't surprise me. Both Chop & Dixon came via the portal so it's not the first time they put their interests ahead of team loyalty. Can't blame them. Anyway, I wish them both all the luck they deserve. They gave us a good year and I really enjoyed watching them play!
