It’s a big recruiting weekend in Happy Valley. Lots of talk that if Franklin can reel in a few more guys before the second signing day, PSU can have it’s second straight top 10 recruiting class and pass Michigan for top class in the B1G. My wish list includes another OL, DL, and safety Nick Cross. Anything else is gravy.

Man 99 with all these new transfer rules recruiting has even become more important than ever. The way kids are jumping ship today might set up teams like Stanford and NW to have a shot to win a NC because they’ll usually keep guys on their roster for 4 and 5 year and teams like Stanford and NW will jell together. Thank GOD we have James Franklin because he is one of the best recruiters out there lol.  These new rules will level the playing field even more  than the 85 scholarship rule IMO?

Maybe top 10 recruiting schools will end up being a "minor league" feeder system for other NCAA teams when a kid transfers because he couldn't crack the starting lineup or win significant playing time.  In the future, spending big $$ ona recruiting budget may be counter productive!

don't forget this goes both ways, kids who maybe weren't highly-recruited will be looking to transfer to better teams as well

I'd be surprised if Daequan Hardy walked away without an offer..and if so he will commit..Sorrells will probably commit this weekend but we may not hear about it....

Several new predictions on 24/7 for FL WR TJ Jones to join the Lions. I’m hoping for Nester, Sorrells, and Cross. Cross visiting next weekend. He is currently committed to FSU, but rumors are his father wants him to go to PSU. Close the deal CJF!
