I’m not even going to get into the BS of the greatest Joe Paterno and the great Bobby Bowdon let me talk Barry Switzer and Tom Osborne. Barry Switzer absolutely dominated Tom Osborne 12-5 and they got Switzer ranked 12th and Osborne ranked 6th lol. They played every year last game of the year and Oklahoma dominated Nebraska for crying out loud but Tom and Nebraska was better lol. When does the play on the field not mean something. It’s crap like this is why you can’t trust anybody to tell the truth because people will always show favoritism. They had joe 11th and said only winning 2 NC’s hurt his rankings but they don’t mention joes 5 undefeated seasons and 24 bowl wins lol. These people can’t be trusted just like this BS CFP committee can’t be trusted. Get a dang real playoff already. It ain’t hard and difficult it just takes power out of the people pulling the strings hands or the people controlling the MONEY which are probably the same crooks. Just more fake chit or news whatever you want to call it lol. 11th, gimme a break
What is a best coach anyway? Does most with least? Game day coach? Best recruiter? Best at developing character? There have been some winning coaches that were real losers. Unless they are going to be honest and score them in different categories and weight the categories it is just filler.
Yes, it's a scam. They spend 8-12 hours a day figuring out how they can rig the playoffs. I'm sure the cell phone providers have thousands of texts on the server that can prove the committee is crooked.
I judge on Wins, bowl wins, undefeated seasons and championships. Championship consists of bowl wins, conference championship and NC. How consistent was the coach and was the coach competitive at a high level early in their career and at the end of their career. Everything I judge on is decided on the field except maybe the NC that’s a popularity contest for the most part. I do believe we earned both of our NC’s but we also lost 2. You add all that stuff up that I laid out and the greatest Joe Paterno is #1 and it ain’t even debatable
Joe was the greatest in my book and I'll take that to the grave with me. No need for me to justify it, his overall "body of work", as the scam committee would say, speaks for itself!
I’ll admit I can be competitive on anything and I always want to win regardless of what it is. That’s why I always pull for whoever the president is because do that I’m always on the winning side lol
Nothing wrong with jumping on the bandwagon when you're talking about politics. But when it comes to sports teams - you need to decide, no bangwagoning accepted here. And speaking of bandwagons, you see that girl get tossed of that cart in Oklahoma today?

Yes, like I said during the PSU Game, In Oklahoma they still haven't figured out that wagon has a high center of gravity and wont turn a tight radius. Not the first time they have dumped to Sooner Schooner but they will keep doing it until someone gets hurt.
Then we have that Texas Steer that is an accident waiting to happen.
I think the Auburn Eagle is quite a show, I suppose it could be dangerous if a rabbit got loose on the field.

I agree bob that’s why I laid out why the greatest Joe Paterno is the greatest coach because everything I put out there was accomplished on the field not somebody’s opinion. Wins and bowl wins, championships and winning for 5 decades at a high level was done on the field and ain’t nobody else come close to what joe did. He also did it playing by the rules and graduating football players at a very high level.
