That's easy to answer.
College fans tailgating and drinking + students drinking + serving alcohol during game while already intoxicated = Trouble.
@forum-titan As if people aren't heading into the stadium already blasted anyway. Heck, I know some parents who are fully aware their kids sneak liquor into games.
Also add to it many other schools do it already, it doesn't seem to be a huge issue at those places.
I'm all for it. Those few extra beers in the stands can help cope with the disappointments while watching. Thank you State College for the beer goggles.

I already take a whiz several times a game W/O beer due to nerves!! Good grief, I hope they install TV's in the men's rooms while they are at it!!
I use the game time to sober up from the pre-game tailgate. How the heck am I supposed to adjust to this??

"BYOB" - Again, they don't let you take your own beer into the stadium. Also. drinking outside before the game starts isn't the same as having a cold one during the game. FFS man.
