I could care less about either team but I wish the refs would stay out of the way. They pretty much did until the last play of the game and they call a foul that gives another team a chance to win the game. The game was so exciting watching a team have a chance to win on the last play of the game and he misses. This is what you want and then the ref steps in and gives Virginia another chance to win. The refs let both teams get away with tough defense all game and then call a foul on the last play. Total BS. It’s kind of slow right now so I figured I’d post something lol. It’s nice to see Matt Millen back and I look forward to watching him during the spring game. This dude is a fighter baby.

This is the slow time for all sports forums. It’ll pick up during the spring game because we’ll see the future players of the penn st football team. I’m looking forward to watching the QB’s. I don’t need to see Stevens because I already know what we have but I can’t wait to watch all the others. Clifford might be the most improved player because the game slows down for QB’s as they get more experience. I believe it will be Stevens but I wouldn’t be surprised if Clifford doesn’t pass him for the starting job and if he does that’s great news for penn st because it’s just more proof James Franklin is gettin it done baby. Let the.best man play!

I think Stevens will start, but if he goes down with an injury, it's good to have a guy like Clifford waiting in the wings.  As far as the BW game, I just hope there are no injuries!  I remember back in the old days, the competition for the starting nod was so heated that serious injury was pretty common.  Ole Joe let them play and fight it out, LOL!

If Auburn didn't want the ref to step in, they shouldn't have collided with the Virginia kid in mid-air. It's kinda hard to say this was a BS foul when the kid had his trajectory changed, had his hips thrown sideways, and fell to the floor two or three feet from where he took off.

I agree that it was a foul but they had been soft on calling fouls and let ‘em fight it out on defense but when it was crunch time for both the refs got in the way. Had they been calling both teams all game I wouldn’t have a problem with it plus they missed the double dribble on Virginia. If its a call that could go either way it shouldn’t have been called especially if there’s no time left on the clock. I just want the refs to be consistent but like I said  I ain’t got a dawg in the fight so I didn’t lose any sleep 😂

Yeah, they missed the double dribble but in the moment I've seen those types of missed calls before. I know fans of Auburn are harping on that one too, but the foul on the shot was obvious, not "either way". If a guy jumps straight up, and you plow into him to the point his hips fly out and he lands somewhere else? Has to be called.

Though as you said, had the refs called the double dribble Auburn is shooting free throws after Virginia has to foul them intentionally. However, that's no guarantee Auburn wins, they could miss one or both FTs and Virginia could make a 3. IMO Auburn got a bad call, but was hardly robbed.
